Wedding Plans and Reading Time

My reading levels are probably going to drop a little over the next three months. My daughter and her fiance have decided to move their wedding from July 2009 to August 2008. To say that things have gotten a little crazy around here would be an understatement.

Week wind-up - The Glamorous and the downright ugly

This week had a little bit of everything thrown in.

I made some headway on the wip, go me! Currently I'm trying to decide whether to work more on it tonight, or put in North and South and ogle Richard Armitage for inspiration. It's a close run thing. I AM really enjoying this book though. It's very dramatic.

Hired: The Sheikh's Secretary Mistress

Lucy Monroe does a great job with this book. I love reading all the stories about th desert shiekhs. The men are so forceful, but treat their women with honor once they get off their highghorse (the sheikhs, I mean,)

I like that more and more stories are about women who have retained their virtue well into the late 20s, maybe some of these teenagers will get the drift.

I put up the file...

You have to click on the file name in The Place That Shall Not Be Named, but then you'll see the babies swarming The Daddy. Also, scrolling down will show you some new pics of all the kids!

(I'd post pictures here, but my computer and the new system have yet to get along. It's just my perfectionism kicking in. So all kid pics are in TPTSNBN)

Looking at a long weekend; changing reading; hoping things improve....

A couple of weeks ago I headed to the doctor's office because I realized that my depression was acting up again... not that it happened suddenly mind. It's been a gradual progression ~ as usual ~ going back, I think, if not months, then maybe a year or so?

The Italian Boss's Mistress of Revenge

This book is great. Revenge is not always sweet. But that can depend on whose on the receiving end. Carazzo and Dante are a perfect match. He is determined and she is even more determined to save the hotel and the jobs. As usual alls well that ends well, but getting there was a lovely journey.
