Nocturne

This is definitely fun, I like the new site!

Anyways, next wednesday (unless im wrong) is the Nocturne Hour @ 8 pm!

 The reason I say if I'm wrong is because the site says that its the annual open house

 to access the chat, go to chat.eharlequin.com :)

Cool!!!! The new site is finally up and running.  Yea!!!!  I really like the look of it. Is this going to be the regular Nocturne line though that we are on all the time like the other one Lou or Jeanette?    I'd hate to get mixed up and lose track of everyone.

Hey Lou or Jeanette or anyone who has figured everything about the new site, can someone help me or tell me how to fix the my favorites on your profile page to add favorite forums and blogs(hint Nocturne chat!!!!) on it?

This is the same Nocturne board, Leanne.  It just has a new look.  I may change the name though.  Before it was "Nocturne 6" (I think) and it is currently writing for Silhouette Nocturne.  I think simply "Nocturne" will do.

I love the new look!

Hey Lou!

I saw on your profile that you don't know what you want to write for... one of the first posts that I read on EHar told the tale of a woman who decided that she wanted to up her chances of being pubbed by submitting everywhere that she possibly could. I've adopted that philosophy, and not only does it get your name out there and recognized by editors, but you find what really flows for you.

For instance, I didn't think I'd be into riting paraormals, though I love to read them, but a comment by Vivi Anna sparked an idea, and now I think they're my favorite.

You just never know...

And that's my two cents for the day, Back to the grind...

That's why you've got to get the muse in gear and write stories for both ;)

Leanne, is your file maybe too big?

I was reading my Feb. issue of Romantic Times Book Reviews, and just wanted to leave congrats to Michelle Hauf and Lori Devoti for their books getting chosen  in the best series romance novels 2007 catagory.  Yea!!!!!  Let's hope that next year the Nocturnes have a even bigger list. We want the world to know that the Nocturnes are here to stay.   Also on the list are Beverly Barton, Linda Howard, Linda Winstead Jones and Pamela Palmer.

Hi Paisley,  I think Jeanette mentioned changing the name of the thread to just Nocturne.  Maybe she hasn't gotten to it yet.  We're happy to have you here. :)

Jeanette and Lou, are we having a Nocturne chat again soon? I know there was mention of one but I wasn't sure. 

I really like the new site! It cuts down on the bookmarks I need, just add everything to favorites and go!

 Patrice, I am really looking forward to reading Scions, I am going to pick it up in a few weeks.

Oh, and in the excitement over the new board, I forgot to mention -- I finished Scions: Resurrection, and for the most part it was excellent.

 The nitpicky part of my brain that refuses to be silenced, however, would like to ask why a species that has only existed for sixty years is so concerned with ruling family lines and old rituals.  It'd be like someone living in Plymouth in the 1660s bragging that their ancestors came over on the Mayflower.

Unfortunately, my ability to delete and make edits has not been easy in the new design.  We're working on fixing this so I have to email all my changes to the Community Manager.  I agree with you on the name of the thread and I will be sure to follow-up and make sure it gets corrected.  Thanks for the reminder!

As for the chat date and time, I also need to follow-up on that as well.

Hi debkc3.  I'm glad you picked up on the Nocturne line.  They are a really great series of books, and the community on here is awesome.  It's my favorite place to visit friends and find out all the newest info on books, and things.  The monthly chats are great too.  If you get a chance, make sure to visit the next one.  It's supposed to be this week coming I think, but Jeanette is going to check and make sure.  Hope to see you back here soon.

I would love to go, but I just started a new job that has vacation blackout to May, and since when I got hired I need a week in March to get married, I don't think I could get another week! Maybe next year.
