Looking for a few good folks to interview for a documentary film!
Here's YOUR chance to be a STAR. Julie Moggan, a fan of romance fiction is making a documentary that’s going to celebrate the success of Mills & Boon books around the world. She wants to make a warm, intelligent documentary that will take us into the private worlds of Mills & Boon’s readers and writers. She hopes to uncover the secrets of the romance novel’s enduring success and find answers to the perennial question “What do women really want?”
"So far I’ve been concentrating solely on the UK romance world and I’ve had a fantastic time meeting British readers and writers of all ages and backgrounds. I am now eager to broaden my project out and start making contact with Mills & Boon fans in the US. I’m interested to hear from readers, via email, what it is about the books that you love so much and how this passion for Mills & Boon relates to the rest of your life. Which line of Mills & Boon romances do you like the best, how often do you read them, how does your life compare to the life of the heroines in the books, do you think Mills & Boon heroes exist in the real world?"
I met with Julie at RWA in San Francisco and she's simply lovely and very committed to doing justice to the genre. At this stage she's just looking to hear from people via email and this would in no way obligate you to appear in front of the camera. So if you feel like lending her a hand, she's looking forward to hearing from you and telling you more about the project. You can contact her at the following email address.

Documentary
I'm interested in contacting Ms. Moggan, but when I click on the link for her address, my Mac does its "thing" and I don't use "mac-mail". Is there another way I can get her e-mail address?
Blueheart - not using a mac at the moment
but can you right-click on the link and copy the email addy and then paste it into your email program?
instead of clicking on the link to directly open whatever it opens for you
That's what I do when I'm on DH's machine (as otherwise it sends it from his email rather than from mine)
Hope it helps

I contacted her as well, to give her a male's perspective on romance reading. She was really interested too! I think this is a great opportunity!

Jayne-A question about Mills & Boon
Wasn't sure where else to post this. Went searching for more information on Mills & Boon online and found their site. Found a book I'd like to read too (may find more) and that created a question in my mind. Are any of the Mills & Boon books available in the USA (without having to go through e-Bay/Amazon/etc.)?
Sort of an answer
Hi blueopal.
Some of the
Mills & Boon Tender books are published in North America as the Harlequin
Romance series. Some of the Mills & Boon Modern are published as the
Harlequin Presents series. And the Mills & Boon Modern Extra are also
published sometimes as Harlequin Presents. But I can't tell you if it's all or
just some of the books....I'm looking into it for you.

Thanks, Jayne!
While you're searching, this is the info. from the bottom of the Mills & Boon page telling about the book that caught my eye:
CHOSEN AS THE SHEIKH'S WIFE by Liz Fielding From the book 100 ARABIAN NIGHTS ISBN 978-0263866780 (UK)Imprint: Romance TM & Harlequin Romance (R) (R) & TM are trademarks of the publisher
Does that last part about the imprint mean that it has been/is/will be published/distributed in the U.S.? Will the book be under a different title? Thanks in advance for finding out!
