Nancy's Warren
Can't get enough of Nancy's books?
Enter the Warren where the many twists and turns of Nancy's stories are sure to keep you occupied for hours.
About The Author:

Nancy Warren is the USA TODAY bestselling author of more than twenty sexy, humorous novels and novellas for Harlequin and Kensington publishers. She got her big break in 2000 when she won the Harlequin Blaze Contest (unpublished category) and her first sale was a three-book contract — one for the Blaze line, one for the Temptation series and one for the Duets series.
Nancy has won many awards for her writing, including the Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Blaze of 2002 and the Laurel Wreath. In 2004 she was a double Rita Award finalist. Nancy holds an honors degree in English literature and lives in the Pacific Northwest where she spends a lot of time daydreaming about gorgeous men, and women who are a lot more adventurous than she. When not writing, she is usually out walking her border collie in the rain, or twisted into some bizarre yoga shape.

Good luck
Dear bunnies, good luck on finding your way around the new site. I think my visits will be fewer and farther apart. Keep up the good work with you writing. Know that I am thinking of you. Latesha
I finally found the Warren.
I'm glad it's still here. I looked for it yeasterday and couldn't find it. Life is going well. I bought too many presents for Christmas. My little girl wanted to play with each gift before she opended another. So I spend it out through the day. She even opened a few the day after Christmas. I got to spend my vacation with three of my brothers and thier family. My youngest brother has 2young children and brother Seth wife had a suprise baby at 41 making six kids. And my oldest brother had his seven kids plus his three grand kids. Making it a very full house with lots of older kids and lots of little little kids running around. I bought myself one of the digtal picture frames.
All in all a fantastic time.
:) Tiana
So glad you're finding your way.
Latesha, hope you get a chance to visit now and then. Keep us updated on what's going on with you. Hopefully life won't keep you too busy.
Tiana, your family sounds like it's really growing! How are things with you and the kiddos? Any adoptions in sight? How's teeth pulling?
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the bunnies soon!

Whew!
I was a little worried the Warren didn't make the transition but I followed the trail of bunny, erm, fluffy tails and found y'all!
Hopefully the queen bunny herself will find her way.
Latesha, I hope you still find time to drop in!
Tiana, great to 'see' you!! Christmas sounds like it was chaotic fun with all those kids.

Things are going
Things are going well.
Still no word on adoption. Trying not to get my hopes up. Been dreaming of all the things I'd do if I were kid free. ;) But the good thing is they have lived with me over six months (eight months now). If they do become adoptable it could be finalized pretty quick. I'll probably know more in May.
:) Tiana
Whoosh!
Sheesh, you go away for a week or two and everything changes! Tricky to navigate but I found you! Is there anyway to go back and read posts I've missed withthis system (safer to ask than to get lost again LOL)
Tiana that does sound like good news! And I love the idea of those digital frames, I think it's so cool how you can just insert the memory card of , say, a trip and it's like a living picture. I'm hoping to get one soon.
Latesha, bookmark us and come back soon! I love your purple posts!
Dream you have gone where no host has gone before too funny!
Nancy, what are you up too? I hope it's writing!
Wendy, did you see my post telling everyone how much I loved your book? I can hardly wait to read the next one!
I hope everyone is doing well. We are looking into a place to stay in Maui...the place I wanted isn't available in November 08...dang! Ah well, we'll keep searching

Was coming by to say hi to Nancy and ask if we'll see any Blazes from her again -- Nancy's are among my favorites. :)
But saw your name Wendy and have to tell you, I am about 1/3 through Remains of the Dead and I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. It's a bit dark, and gets in my head (I keep saying I won't read right before bed, but then I do...LOL), but OMG what a fantastic book. You're my new addiction (well, your books! Don't be worried, LOL).

Found it
Hello Bunnies,
I just wanted to make sure the Warren's still here, had some real trouble finding the place. I am really sorry that I would not be around much to get more accustomed to the place. However, just saying hello to all and hoping that the Queen Bunny finds her way here soon.
Tiana, I hope it all works out for you, I know how the waiting game can take much out of you.
Latesha so glad to see you
And all the other bunnies, it makes my heart glad to know that even though I am not around you all are still here, I miss you all a lot.
Hi
Belarl~It's so good to see you popping in here. I hope that all is well with you. How are your studies coming along?
Here's hoping that you all are staying safe and warm. It's freezing here in NJ and there's talk of a messy, wintry mix heading this way. I hope not. I have too much to do and do no want to be stranded. Waving to all.
Yeah!
So glad all the bunnies are finding their way! And welcome to Sam our new bunny!! Aren't Wendy's books wonderful? I can't wait for the next one. Speakeingof wonderful, does anyone here read Michael Connely? I think I've talked bout him before. I just read his latest yesterday and it was really good but you know, I almost solved the crime this time-yeah me! I was supposed to be at a wedding yesterday but I hve this stupid head cold that is moving to my chest and yesterday I had no voice whatsoever, so I just went to the ceremony and came home to snuggle with tea and book and a blankie, LOLIIHAV! (laughing out loud if I had a voice) Now I know all brides are beatuiful but OMG!!! this bride was exceptionally gorgeous. She looked like a real life Barbie-doll. Her groom burst into tears when he saw her, hell I even cried! MOstly out of envy I think for the figure I will never have but WOW is all I can say. SHe looked amamzing. Also, it snowed here yesterday which is just what she was hoping for for her wedding and she had this beautiful faux fur stole wiht a white satin bow to cover her shoulders--stunning!
Me, I slumped there with my sick-head and slumped back home. The kids were both at Bday parties so I had a few hours to myself. Dh is trying to quit smoking--YIKES! what a grouch! but after a pack a day for 33 years to nothing, I guess I'd be a grouch too. He's doing better this time than any other time before--he seems really determined and I think he might actually make it. That would be tha most amazing thing because he has nver been able to see himself as a non-smoker before. I reallyhope he can do it.
Anyway, off to find another cuppa for my sore throat
stay healthy buns!

Camille
I hope that you are feeling better soon. It's no fun being sick when you want to party. Good luck to DH on kicking the smoking habit.
Thanks Camille! I found
Thanks Camille! I found the warren. Hope you are feeling better! Good luck to your DH. My dad had tried to quit several times over the years then decided one day he was going to quit and he did, cold turkey and never went back. He'd been smoking for 35 years. So it can be done
I think we've all made it!
DD is watching High school musical 2 again...for the 100thish time, so I have a minute to jump on the computer. Thanks for the well wishes, I am feeling marginally better today, think I will attempt a real work day tomorrow. I am so excited! I purchased two tickets for me and Dd today to go see the HSM play that is happening at a local theatre, it's not the original cast or anything but judging by how often we watch this show I think she's going to love it!! I am keeping it a total surprise until the day of---Saturday--yeah!
DH is still going strong--even he can see a light at the end of thetunnel now and can see himself as a non-smoker. I can't tell you how happy this makes me! His smoking has been a HUGE barrier in the last few years especially. I remember being in Disneyland and having to wait to get in line so he could have a smoke...do you know how hard that is for kids to have to wait, only to wait again? Sheesh! Imagine never having to leave a party early because he needs a cigarette--what a party girl I can become LOL! Now I kow it's only day 9 but he's doing WAY better with his resolution than I am with mine.
I had two great days in arow on Weight watchers and then got sick and I am a BIG emotional eater, so when I feel sorry for myself it's all about cookies and yummy stuff. As soon as I'm better I will have to be very very good
or people will be very very scared to see me in a bikini
{the horror, the horror} LOL!
Okay speaking of being good he he he, I have to go make dinner. Hope allyou bunnies are doing great!

Hey Camille, I just got back from Maui. Had to go over for work. Wish I could have played instead. Seems like everytime I go over there some new housing subdivision has popped up! I've got some stuff together to mail to you. Maybe this weekend if I have time. I'll send you an email when I send it. BTW, November is a good time of year to go to Ka'anapali :)
Big Bunny Wave
Hey Latesha big Bunny Wave to you. I am so sorry it is snowing in NJ, of course in Trinidad and Tobago we have lots of sun, sea and Carnival, yes we are in Carnival time mode again and the season is passing fast this year because it is so early.
Camille, I know about smokers and their habits up to a few years ago my uncle lived with us and my dh is asthmatic and smoke is one of his major triggers and my uncle could not understand this. One day my uncle developed a heavy nasal cough and without going to the doctor he knew he was in trouble and just like that he quit. We were all amazed and really happy about it. He no longer lives with us but he is still smoke free. So keep applauding the effort.
I'll check

Carnival!?!
Hey Belarl! Carnival time hey? We usually have bunny Carnival to match...I'll get some jambalaya cooking on the stove and break out the big feathers for headdresses...what else? Alcohol is a must...I've been big into Cosmos lately--are martini's a carnival type drink?
Thanks for the encouraging thoughts about your uncle's abilityt o quit. Dh is determined this time, and I think he can do it. I know it sounds weird but he just loves smoking so much that he misses it. It made him happy in so many ways--I know that sounds strange--it was a love -hate thing.
Papaya~ You are wonderful! thanks for thinking of me!
Dream~ You are the hostie with the mostie! thanks for looking in to it. The page I bookmarked said names would be posted on Eharl but I searched and came up empty...I'd just like to keep my eye out to see what they were looking for, you know?
Okay Belarl_ tell us what else we need to get the Warren-ival started!
Camille
www.camillecavanagh.com
Carnival
All your are missing is our sweet calypso music and of course a little trini flavor. All Alcohol is accepted once you have lots of water with it. The food of the day is called 'pelau' it is a combination of green pigeon peas, salted meat with carrots and coconut milk, put together and cooked in one pot. Taste fabulous, however if you are watching the weight leave out the coconut milk, hugely fattening. check out visittnt.com for carnival costumes. That should set us to 'chipping' and dancing in the streets.
caught Camille's cold
Camille must've left her germs all over the Warren 'cause I caught her cold *kidding*! I haven't had a cold in AGES but it seems when I get one, I get it good. Ended up with an ear infection, sinus infection and a mild case of pneumonia but the antibiotics seem to finally be kicking in.
It's so great to see everyone here!
Belarl & Papaya, you're making me crave a warmer climate!

Wendy~Hope that you are feeling better soon. Maybe you should go to somewhere warm, like where Belarl is to enjoy Carnival.
Waving to all. Hope that you all are safe and warm.
eeek! Sorry!
Ah wendy, I am so sorry! Well if it makes you feel any better, I suggested your book to two different reading groups I know---
That cold is one tough cookie. I have my voice back but my throat still feels like there is a pill or something stuck in it everytime I swallow...my mom, bless her soul, reminded me that exact feeling was the first sign my uncle had before they diagnosed him with throat cancer...yeah, that helped me swallow easier!
Good friends dropped by today. I love having people over! It was so good to relax and enjoy their company! My ds is off tot he monster(monster) truck (truck) show (show) today (this was the echo) and won't be back til late tonight...my daughter has also caught the cold and needs to go to bed early -says me---hmmm I wonder what dh and I could do withthe house to ourselves for a while...yup! you guessed it! he's cutting tiles and I'm on the computer! LOL!
Hope everyone else has a romantic weekend!
Happy ground hog day--spring is just around the corner!

Happy Almost Valentine's Day!
Hi all!
I've been so lost. I finally had to email Wendy to ask how to get here LOL. Should have left a trail of carrot crumbs.
OMG! I absolutely LOVED Remains of the Dead. WTG Wendy. It was funny and just a bit scary and suspenseful and extremely satisfying. Yum. Can't wait for the next book.
Hey, Sam, good to see you. Yes, I've got another Blaze coming out and how sweet of you to ask. It will be called French Kissing and comes out in March. It's part of the Lust in Translation series and I'm particularly happy with the cover. My heroine's a fashion reporter during couture week in Paris. What bliss!!
Anyhow, I'm sorry I've been absent but now that I've found us again, I will come by more often.
It's so great to see you all. Tiana my hopes and prayers are with you that you get your family soon.

Waving to all the bunnies. Hope that you all are staying warm and busy. :)
wow! that is some
wow! that is some cover!!! Dh was just saying tonight that whenever we finally get to Paris he is going to park himself by the Eiffel tower in a little cafe and eat bagettes and brie and croissants and drink red wine and espresso until he's too sick to move...I think I'll leave him there and go SHOPPING!
I hope you all had a wonderful valentines day...I got the biggest armful of red roses and greens and babies breath and ribbons and bows--guess who started smoking again? after a month of quitting? I can't believe it! I was so envisioning us as a non-smoking family (finally!0 and we had just been out to celebrate him making it to one month
okay, enough, I 'm not really over it but I'm at least not so mad anymore (Can you tell? LOL) I still have the lump thing in my thorat. My doctor says to wait another two weeks and if it;s still there he'll send me to the EN&T guy...he figures all my rick factors are low-even with a smoking husband (he smokes outside) and my swap came back negative for strep and stuff so I guess I'm stuck with the stuckness in my throat til the end of February.
I took next week off work to write and guess what? I got talked into doing writing workshops at my kids school for 2.5 of the days--and one day they get out early so am I going to get any writing in?
My goal is to finish one of the novels I am working on, probably the contemporary and then free my self up to read Nancy's new book ASAICO! (as soon as it comes out!)
Hope everyone is healthy and happy!
Camille

Sounds like you...
got a beautiful flower arrangement, Camille. Let's hope that your DH gets back on the no smoking again. He lasted for a month and he can do it again. Ihope that you feel better soon and that your throat lump goes away with no more problems for you.
Waving to all.
Wow...
it sure is quiet in here. I hope that everyone is doing well and getting lots of writing accomplished. (Hint, hint)

We have a new host!
Welcome Wayne! It's great to "Meet" you. Please help youself to this nice big platter of date bars and fruit and this big bowl of pear crisp. I've also brought in a pot of Chai tea and a pot of coffee, so come on bunnies, lets welcome him proper....Now what do they call a male bunny?????
I took a week off to write Latesha and I ended up by spending the week teaching writing workshops at my children't school. It was so good though. I taught 7 workshops (1.5-2 hours each) over 3 days. Grades 4-7 both French immersiona nd English (I taught them in english though!) The last class I did for a grade 2-3 split because it's my daughter's class. We were workingon understanding POV and I was getting them to re-write children's stories from an alternate POV. MY daughter loves the Wizard of OZ and decided to do that one---she began: Dorothy was a poor girl. She lived in canvas...OMG!!! I was laughing so hard but I didn't want her to know--I had to excuse myself to go get a drink of water! Needless to say, I barely got any of my own writing done (other than a great story about the middle pig from the 3 little pigs who felt like things were always out of her reach and after years of therapy was diagnosed with "pig in the middle syndrome" or PMS. Too bad I don't write kids books hey? LOL
Hope all the bunnies are writing up a storm--our big holiday is coming up...I'm already planning my eggs ha ha ha

Right now it's spewing lava into the ocean again. Wish it would just take a years break or something, I'm getting tired of thevog.
LOL Camille, that sounds like you had fun!
I didn't get a chance to mail the stuff to you yet, it's still sitting on my desk. Because it's going to Canada, i have to see an actual postal person to send it instead of being able to just drop it in teh box. I'll get there yet...
BTW, a male bunny is a buck!
Just wanted to say
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, NANCY! I hope that you had a great day.
Wayne ~Welcome to the Warren.
Camille~It sounds like you had a good time with your workshops. Your daughter is too funny. I can see why you had to excuse yourself for a drink. You could always write children's stories in your spare time. ;)
Wishing you all a good week. Trying to make my online time quick. We've had wicked winds and the power went out for a couple of hours last night. Not sure what will happen today.
Hi..
Thanks for the welcome, ladies.
Island life is great! Fortunately, we don't have the lava spewing, but hurricanes do cause as some anxiety each year.

I am lost in the vortex bunnies...if one of you is on FB and you see me there, kindly drag my sorry bunny butt back to reality will you? LIke I needed something else to waste time! eeeek! I have no extra time, what was I thinking? NOw I am up waaaaayyy beyond my bedtime just to send people timbits and black coffee...this is truly sad don't you think?
I am not surprised that Nancy is looking fab! I have never seen her when she is not absolutely gorgeous! BTW, I faved some of your books Nancy and Wendy (in the vortex)
It's spring break here and I promised my children that if they helped with spring cleaning I would take them somewhere fun each day...so far my house is getting clean and we are all having a great week!
We went for High tea on st. paddy day--blast but totally $$$YIkes!$$$$$, tuesday one had a sleepover and one had a party. Wednesday we went out for lunch with my mom and today we went to the park and took a train ride too. Tomorrow we will dye eggs and (hopefully) the granite counter for the ensuite will be installed. The bathroom is, dare I say it?, almost complete! Yeah!

Waving to all
Just wanted to pop in here and say hello to everyone. I hope that you all are doing well and keeping busy with your writing.
LOL Dream!
That is hillarious! fatty maybe, not hottie! but I'll take your compliment today because I bought a new outfit for work and I'm feeling good...actually I bought a new necklace and earring set and when it came (I bought it from Avon) it was a different colour than I thought it was going to be. (It said spice and I'd say it's corally orange) So I had to go buy a new outfit to go with it...this of course led to new shoes to go with the outfit...then a second outfit because it would be a shame not to wear the shoes more often, sigh, is wish I had a million dollars, boy could I shop!
I finally picked up French Kissing today!!!! I can hardly wait to have time to read it...in fact I am dying to just have time to savor it!! PArt of me wants to delve into it right away but experience has tuaght me to savor the good ones so I might just wait until my vacation to the island,w here I do nothing but read..or ...I might read it when Hubby and I go away for our mid week dash to Victoria...he always LOVES it when I'm reading Nancy's books LOL!
I am working on my new historical again and feeling pretty pumped about it...I really like the story so far and the characters are screaming at me to write write write....that the author likes the story is always a good sign hey LOL!
did I tell you guys that for Christmas I bought the first season of the Waltons? I wanted to have the optionof watching some good old fashion values type shows with my kids and guess what? they love it!!! they beg me to watch it and just watched the last episode of season one on Easter Sunday (It was an Easter special) I have ordered seasons 2-5 and they should arrive any day! I am really pleased to have found something that my son will sit down and watch with me. We shoot hoops and play wii together and watch Idol...all initiated by him, so it's nice that he has responded so positively to something initiated by me...I'm hoping it continues into his teen years...how long did the Wlaton's run? ha ha ha
My kid's school is having their annual carnival and this year's theme is "Carnivale"! I'm so excited! I think about the bunnies all the time...I hope you are doing well!
Camille
www.camillecavanagh.com
You just reminded me
You just reminded me Camille, I have a package waiting to be mailed to you and I still haven't sent it out
This is from Christmas time if I'm not mistaken... I will try to get it mailed in the next week or so. I'm flying to Maui on Thursday then being helicoptered to Kaho'olawe. My son's 8th grade class is going to be doing some restoration work (outplanting native plants).
The volcano is doing it's thing and pumping lava into the ocean again. Not sure if it will still be happening when you go to Maui, but if it is, it would be worth flying over to see it!
I have been lapse about doing a lot of things lately! Mostly because when I do find a little spare time, I sit or lay down with a book
I've got to be better about taking time out to do other things (like exercise for one!). I'm becoming a couch potato (or maybe I should say "desk" potato). Seems like I'm always at work! Which I need to get back to so...
a hui hou (until we meet again)
Happy Earth Day!
What a glorious earth day! The sun was shining and I actually believe that spring might finally be here
Though now that I've said that it will probably revert to rain! It has been so cold here...I am usually a warm person but lately I've been freezing! That is not helping me shed the "winter weight" LOL that I've had for 8 years ha ha ha! The kids were supposed to walk to school today...about 1.5 miles for them. So we did it, in about 30-35 minutes but then I had to walk back...sheesh! I made it home in one piece and then rewarded myself with a little shopping. next week is our annual pro- d day at work and I will be the MC so I wanted a new outfit...found a great blouse and i will pair it with a pencil skirt and some funky shoes I think...need to start working on my speeches or notes or whatever an MC calls them. Does anyone have any good jokes?
Papaya~ You are so wonderful! Alas, Hawaii is looking like a bit of dream these days...WE've had a few more expenses than we thought with renovations and now the addition looks like it will be about 35K...then we have to buy tickets for the Olympics in the fall too....I am keeping the Maui dream alive but Ithink at this point we are hanging in by our finger nails LOL! IF I could find a nice place to stay inexpensively that might make the difference--the place we had lined up is unavailable and the other place we had in mind doesn't even rent out anymore..boo hooo
We'll have to make some decisions soom...plus I need a new car <sigh> Maybe I'll win the lotto!
I hope you are all writing by candlelight tonight to conserve on this earth day...we had a "green supper", recylced the bags and bottles to the deopt and had a "no power hour" at midday as well.
hugs~
Camille

I hope
that all went well at your por-d day, Camille. I'm always amazed by homemuch you get accomplished. I think you may be my new role model.
How is everyone else doing? Staying warm and writing like mad? I hope that you all are doing well.
Happy Mother's Day
Hi Bunnies,
I've missed The Warren so much. I have good reasons, though, been busy with the writing, which is always good, also busy running. I ran the Vancouver Sun Run in April and then yesterday I ran the Pacific Spirit Run. Gorgeous run through treed trails, but I am one sore bunny today. The bad news is that my hands and wrists are so bad I'm being referred to a neurologist. It seems all this writing is hard on the body. Who knew??
Lots of bunny love going out to you all.
love Nancy
