Jana just did a great post about having too many books and too little time. I can *so* relate!
Between my work here on the boards, tax season (I work for H&R Block as a tax preparer and instructor), small children, the new house, and trying to write, I feel like reading keeps getting pushed farther and farther back. But there's some really great books out there, which is a bummer.
So here's what's on MY TBR list. I've got a few more Steeple Hill books, but that box is upstairs and I'm too lazy to grab it.
In no particular order (because I read according to my mood)
1. Serpent's Kiss by Alex Archer
2. Dakota Home by Debbie Macomber. Sadly, I won't get to this one for a while. Silly me forgot to get the first one in the series, so I'll wait and read it when I have the first.
3. The Hunt by Jennifer Sturman
4. Hidden in the Wall by Valerie Hansen. A new LIS continuity. I'm *SO* there!
5. I'm Dreaming of some White Chocolate by Rhonda Rhea (and who isn't, really? Unless you're like me and you adore dark. The darker, the better, IMO)
6. Jamaican Me Crazy by Debbie DiGiovanni
7. The Red Suit Diaries by Ed Butchart. Oops, I wanted to read that one for Christmas.
8. The Perfect Match by Kimberly Cates
9. The Sheikh's Unsuitable Bride by Liz Fielding. Yeah, all you needed to know is Liz Fielding. I LOVE her books. Not sure why I haven't read this one, except that I haven't had time for a nice bath, which is really the ideal time for savoring a Liz book.
10. Deadly Texas Rose by Lenora Worth. Another favorite author.
11. Guardian of Justice by Carol Steward.
12. Rogue by Rachel Vincent. This would be the sequel to her book, Stray. No link for it yet, because... drum roll... it's and ARC. Yep. Jayne decided to give me a little Christmas pressie and sent it my way. One of the most common misconceptions of being a hosty is that we get all these books and we get ARCs. Nope. We wait just like you. We have to work out in our budget the must-haves and the ones we suppose we'll have to do without. Yep, yep, yep. So this little treat is going to be well-savored, I can assure you. Anyway, the book is out in April and we'll be discussing it then. And I'm hoping to have a review or something up before that.
If I ever find time to read!!

What's in my TBR
I don't have all those things going on in my life but I still can't find time to read
It may have something to do with buying more than I can read each month
but come on I have zero will power when it comes to books especially when you wave some of these dealsin my face. This week I'm cat sitting for my sister in Mississauga while she is in Cuba so I don't have to try and find a next read in the 500+ I have in the TBR. I only brought Truly, Madly, Deeply by Vicki Lewis Thompson, The Rancher's Second Chance by Nicole Foster, Just for the Night by Leandra Logan, Cold Case Cowboy by Jenna Ryan, One Real Cowboy by Janette Kenny, The Trouble in Paradise by Jill Shalvis. Hopefully when I get back home I'll have Texas Bluff by Linda Warren and I'll have all 5 Texas Hold'Em books so I'll be starting on those.

you do not even want to know.....
You have some good ones in your TBR! You don't even want to know all the books in my TBR! 3 bookshelves and that is only upstairs! There is reason we made sure we bought a townhouse with a huge basement.

Sadly, this is only the tip of the iceberg
Those were the ones I had handy and am determined to read SOON! After I posted, my most recent order came. *sigh*
We just bought a new house, too, and most of my books are still in storage. Including a few boxes of TBR books.
Christa, I hope you get a chance to get those read. Let us know how you liked them.

Got Books?
what I got done
Well while I was at my sister's I got Have Gown, Need Groom by Rita Herron done(very enjoyable series starter), Truly Madly, Deeply by Vicki Lewis Thampson(probably would have have liked book more if not for h), The Rancher's Second Chace by Nicole Foster(great read, now have to track other book in series down) and about half done The Trouble in Paradise by Jill Shalvis( so far great and humorous). Then I think One Real Cowboy by Janette Kenny will still be in there and then the 5 Texas Hold'Em books. After that the TBR pile might have some rearranging in the future because I just got 17 books today.

Bookshelf
I have a whole bookshelf full to read and the top of several of my keeper shelves have some stacked up. I just collected all of Julie Miller's books so will start them soon. Trapped by Chis Jordan, I want to read the Lara Adrian books soon, and the Kitty books, and so many more.

TBR shelves
Mine are covered. I have books stuffed in sideways. Every time I finish one I have to go dig around and see what's next! I'm trying to curb my purchasing and concentrate on the TBR shelves. At least for the first part of the year!

Nathaniel Hawthorne – The Scarlet Letter
Hoo boy...
... waaayyy too many books to list and books from just about every genre going ~ except horror. I actually do have a couple of books that are non-fiction that I found for clearance prices just after Christmas:
1. Metropolis Found ~ New York Is Book Country
25th Anniversary Collection
2. Michael Connelly ~ Crime Beat: A Decade of
Covering Cops and Killers
3. Aubrey Burl ~ A Brief History of Stonehenge
4. Christie Blatchford ~ Fifteen Days
I rarely read non-fiction, but these books really drew me. The anthology, because there are a quite a few authors who have written a chapter in the book.
The second because I love anything Michael Connelly writes and even this sounds fabulous!
The Stonehenge book because the whole thing behind Stonehenge ~ legend and truth ~ fascinates me and Christie Blatchford's book really just struck a chord.
These are all very unusal reading choices for me so they are the best of the 350 books to list.

I could never live with a TBR shelf!
Go get "Guardian of Justice" NOW and read it!!!! Don't go to bed until you've read it! Just do it! You won't regret it!
It's driving me CRAZY knowing you have that book and have not read it! Go, go NOW, before I go crazy!
By the way, I'd love to hear what you thought after you read it!
