WHOOHOO I get to be first
I love this show. I received the 4th season on DVD for Christmas. Of course, I have the first 3 seasons also.
Mark Harmon ~ what a hottie. Actually, I love all the characters on that show.

just watched a new to me
just watched a new to me episode last night and enjoyed the fight scene. It was fun to watch the guys get whipped and the girl win the fight. also nice was the scene with Abby getting so upset with the marine who started the fight
I missed last night's show
The dd called right before 7:00 to say she needed to be picked up from school. By the time I dropped off one of her friends and got back home it was almost 8:00. To bad I didn't think to tape the show.

we don't ever watch the first run episodes. we watch the repeats on usa. i think it's opposite american idol and we have to watch that, lol.

What's the deal
Ok I watched last night's epi and they killed the director. Then at the end the new director got rid of the team and is replacing them. At least least they kept Abby and Ducky but not the field team does this seem wrong to anyone else?
shake up in the characters ....
they did the same thing with last year's House finale .. got rid of the team ..... that meant a whole new season of fresh faces and new scenarios ..... I think they've been running out of fresh story lines ... and it was time for the director to go
as Ducky and Abby aren't field agents, it makes sense for them to stay ....
we'll see what happens next season ... who knows it could all change and they'll be back

I think there's something
I think there's something really strange about the new director and hope they are planning on not keeping him. I just don't think the show will be the same without the team.

Has anyone seen anything about the next season? The end episode had it looking like they were getting rid of everyone but Gibbs, Ducky and Abby. I agree that the new director looks like he has something fishy going on but that just may be a side thing to trip viewers up on speculation

Well one more week to the new season and it looks to be a good episode
I can't wait
to see how they resolve the mess left from last season. You know it's going to be good.

Oh NO!!
I can't believe I just read this!! I'm in England and we are half way through (ish) the 4th series. How can they get rid of Tony and Ziva especially. I LOVE those two and their chemistry. Not sure it will be the same without them.
And I may never watch again out of protest if Mark Harmon is not about. Can't remember now, off the top of my head, but was he is Dallas or something years ago? The guy is lush.

the trailers for the new season still show Tony and McGee calling in from other assignments and trying to get back to Gibbs team so they are not completely out of the show. I just wonder if they can find dirt on the new director to get rid of him and get back together. I don't know what happens to Ziva as she was to be sent back to Israel

OK, so the new director is an alright guy. He broke up the team for a good reason - to find a spy in NCIS - and now they are back together again. Whew! That's good. I wasn't fooled by Ms. Lee pretending to be scared and knew she was the bad guy. It going to be an interesting season.

I am sooo glad. We've just had the last episode of the previous season here in the UK. Me and the 2 kids were nearly crying (me and DD because of the very lovely Tony) and son because he just loves the characters.
I don't care that I know who the spy is - that knowledge is worth it to know everyone comes back together after a while. I hope, eventually, that Tony and Ziva can get it together but I suppose that is half the attraction of their relationship - that the viewers want it to happen but they always stop short.

I'm glad you mentioned it Kathy ...
we only got bits and pieces on the first epi .. I think there was something else on .... and the tape I made didn't work for some reason (nephew was playing with the setup) .... so dh and I totally missed out
glad to hear the team is back together ..... can't imagine the show with out Tony and MaGee :)
