Oooh, look, a new toy!! Just playing around to get the feel of things so I know what I'm doing when the time comes. Of course, it would be a lot easier if I didn't have the phone ringing off the hook and a very needy kiddo. I think people have a radar system that tells them the exact most inconvenient time to bother me.
I can't wait until Christmas, because when the kiddos get THEIR new toys, I'm going to bug them every ten seconds... "Hey, go pick up your dirty socks." "Let's go do a family activity." "Get me a glass of water." "I'm hungry." "Hey, I want to see what your new toy does."

Completely and whole-heartedly and it doesn't get any better as they grow older. In fact, I think it only gets worse. So, there, see it can and will be worse when they're older. And be thankful they aren't boys--or a boy with a girlfriend....

I know what you mean. It seems as soon as I sit down at the computer, everyone needs me to do something for them. I never thought of using revenge before but am looking forward to it.
