Athena Force Readers - I need help!

Having just finished Moving Target by Lori A. May, and not so long ago, Stacked Deck by Terry Watkins, I have some questions that I need answered.

Moving Target mentions 3 children of Arachne - Kwan-Sook, Lilith and Echo.  Were these children mentioned in previous books?  I know that 3 books were about Rainy's girls, but I don't recall 3 other girls who were born by surrogate mothers using  Arachne's eggs.

Also, the book states that Marion Gracelyn was in Viet Nam with the CIA, and Eric Pace was her handler, as well as Jackie Cavanaugh.  I can't remember anything in previous books about this either.

Stacked Deck has Marion Gracelyn as Weaver's defense attorney, when she was an ADA.

I have to think that when you're doing a continuity such as Athena Force, Mediterranean Nights or the Madonna Key, that each author should be given a list of characters, with a short bio of each so that they get the facts right.  Or maybe each author should read each of the books before theirs -great for the first author, lots of reading for the twelth author!

Well, Authors?  How do you blend your book with all the others?  The errors are minor, much like a mosquito bite, that itches and irritates for awhile, but then goes away.  And the Athena Force is one of my best loved series.  Guess it was my turn to grumble today!

Vendetta

I've only finished Vendetta so I'm behind. There was mention of other girls out there but no names. I figured more would be brought in or why mention them. So those three might be it. Marion is a lawyer didn't remember anything being mentioned about CIA. Will have to get busy and read these now I'm curious.

First, the CIA thing, I

First, the CIA thing, I think was a mistake.  In the book abour Marion, they never mention her having been to Vietnam and I think she was too young to have been there (she was in law school or college at the time).  As for the three girls, I thought they were the original surrogate mothers - I couldn't remember the names, but now I am wondering.  I know the error about Marion really annoyed me as well, if  you are going to talk about the past, make sure you know what it is.

never mind this one, although quite a few of them will soon be on their way

Maybe once I've read them I might have some answers

I've picked up the occasional continuity error/typo myself. I've worked in publishing for years and these things happen, but they really need to get on top of it. At the very least, the same copyeditor or proofreader should work on all the books in one miniseries.
