The BIG BROTHER Pool Rule #1 : If you wish to participate in the BB Pool, please make sure that you have your pick posted by 7 PM, EST on the day the eviction show airs (usually Thursdays) so that I can add it to the Pool list.

Rule #2 : As in the past, you will be awarded +10 points for each eviction that your Houseguest survives. If there are two evictions in an episode and your HG survives both, you will earn +20 points. 

Rule #3 : If you wish to make a new pick because your original pick was evicted or is just annoying you, it will cost you -20 points. You will be unable to select a new HG once we're down to the Final Four.

 Rule #4 -- BONUS POINTS : You will be awarded +5 for each time your pick wins a Head of Household competition. You will receive +5 points for each weekly Food Competition in which your Houseguest competes and wins.  +5 points for each Veto Competition your pick wins.  +5 for each Luxury Competition your pick wins.

Rule #5 : If there is a tie in the Pool, the participant with the most points who selected the winning Houseguest will win The BIG BROTHER Pool.  Please feel free to post your picks anytime up until 7 PM, EST on the day of the first eviction show.   This will give each of us who want to participate in the Pool the opportunity to see the season premiere and make a pick. After the initial Pool is posted, I'll post an updated Pool sometime before each EVICTION DAY episode airs. You may join in the Pool at any time, but you will not receive points for previously aired shows.

My guess is they didn't pair up the dating couple because they wanted to create more drama-rama!  It seems like Allison (Ryan's soulmate) may stir up some trouble as she seems to want Ryan for herself . . in and out of the house.  I was so wishing they would evict Sheila and Adam.  She is just way to negative and he is way to bug-eyed.

It's possible that by the end, they will be on their own, not as couples.

 That happened on biggest loser.

So maybe just pick the one, the other tags along.  But if they do separate at the end, you'll be ready with only one pick.  After all only one will win, not a couple.

I have a big question for y'all. According to the rules above, the actual points receiving won't start until tonight. BUT... my pick was already eliminated and I picked a new person... do I count those points against me? Or do we just ignore it?

Sorry guys.... I had everything Tivo'd so I wasn't sure what days were what on everything. I thought tonight was eviction which was kinda dumb. lol

Anyway, can someone help me get on track with WHEN I'm actually supposed to be keeping track of the points. I have 3 lists of points with different dates written on them, so it won't be any problem for me to put the points down.  LOL  GEEZ!!!!

I can help with the points.  I did this pool one year.

Wed last week was the first eviction.

Jacob and Sharon were evicted.

My pick is still there, so I get points.

Others of us need to get picks in.  I guess the next eviction will be Wed.

POV will be Tues.

I think we need to stay with getting pick in before the show starts.

 We aren't doing the evictee part this time, huh?

I am  not sure I like this season at all.

I volunteered to do the points this year.

I got myself quite a bit confused over when I was supposed to start the points because it says after the first eviction BUT... there was a surprise eviction that no one was expecting. Technically there has been no PLANNED eviction yet.

I can put the points down starting from the first show or after the first eviction (surprise) or after the upcoming eviction.

This morning I did up this GREAT post with the updated points, a recap of the show, etc.  Then my dumb laptop died because it wasn't plugged in... and the power cord was in my son's car... at his work.  I just got the power cord back, but I'm WAY too tired to do the full recap thing. So... next post will be the points.

I was really disappointed in Joshuah during that huge fight between Amanda and Chelsia.  He really went too far with the comment about the noose and her father.

Does anyone else thing that Ryan is a COMPLETE idiot for forgiving Jen??  I can't wait until he sees the show and sees that she DID call him a racist, just so she could save her own butt. I'm GLAD she's gone, I didn't like her at all.

I know that Sheila's been a pain in the butt in her reaction to being partnered with Adam, but I can't help get the feeling that if they're able to stay in the game there may be some sparks. LOL... you know... one of those classic romance novel storylines. Hero and heroine HATE each other to begin with, but end up being completely perfect for each other.

There is a clip collage of Amanda gossiping about everyone in the house and diary room clips of HG's saying that Amanda's doing too much gossiping.

Natalie and Amanda are in the sauna. Amanda says that Natalie needs to win HOH next week because James is going to put both of them up if he's HOH.

Natalie decides to play both sides and tells Chelsia and the other girls that Amanda overheard them say that James and Chelsia were going to put Matt/Natalie and Amanda/Alex. Chelsia gets mad because she never said that they were putting Alex/Amanda up.

Chelsia goes in search of Amanda and finds her in the hot tub with Alex, Sharon, and Joshuah. She tells her that if Amanda hears that she's said anything to come to Chelsia with it. Amanda immediately says that she didn't say anything about her. Chelsia says that's not what she heard.

Amanda gets defensive and tells Chelsia again that she never mentioned her name to anyone... she swears on God and her father. She admits that she said something about James however. Chelsia blows up and tells her that she and James are a team, they are one. If you talk about him, you talk about her.

Amanda just keeps repeating that she never said Chelsia's name. This infuriates Joshuah who stands up in the hot tub and starts yelling at Amanda and calling her names. He tells her she's ugly and calls her horseface. He tells her everyone in the house hates her, even her partner hates her. Alex sits by through all of this and doesn't say a word. A clip of Joshuah's diary room says that this was the perfect time to try to get the house against Amanda and that the house was going to see a real Texas kick-ass attitude.

Amanda, out of the hot tub now turns to the other HG's who are looking on in amazement and asks if they all hate her. None of them answer, but look uncomfortable. Joshuah answers and says he thinks everyone hates her. Alex drops his head in his hands and groans.

Joshuah yells obcenities at Amanda. When she keeps asking him why she's a b*tch he hits the water in the hot tub, shoot a spray of water up at her. He storms out of the hot tub and throws a towel at her while he growls and yells like a crazy man. In the diary room he says that he thinks he was able to turn the whole house against Amanda.

Allison grabs Joshuah's arms and pulls him into the house to calm him down. In the meantime, Amanda goes back to saying that she never mentioned Chelsia's name. Alex finally joins into the fray by yelling at Amanda and telling her that Chelsia and James are a team and whatever she says about James she says about Chelsia. He says, "Just like the whole house is hating on you right now effects me!!"

Joshuah and Allison come back out of the house and he says to the whole group, "She never says anything wrong. Give her a f-ing halo."

Chelsia mutters, "Or a noose."

Joshuah laughs loudly and says, "Just like her dad."

Quiet came over everyone. Diary room clips are shown of HG's saying that Joshuah went WAY overboard. Amanda is devastated and starts sobbing and yelling at everyone outside, "He said give a noose just like her dad! That's not funny!!!" She runs into the house and Allison follows her and tells her that what he said was awful. She tries to comfort her. Amanda tries to push her away saying something about the others reaction to Allison for comforting Amanda. Allison tells her not to worry about it and hugs her anyway and keeps repeating that what Joshuah said was awful.

In the diary room, Allison says that she knows that Amanda stirs up alot of trouble in the house, but she didn't deserve for Joshuah to go way below the belt. Alex said that it showed that Joshuah was out of control. Sharon felt that it was uncalled for and way below the belt.

Amanda soaks in the tub and has a good cry while Parker, Jen, and Sharon stand by quietly supportive. Parker says it was "f-ed up". Sharon tells Amanda that they know her father's suicide is her weakness and they're going to keep pushing her button to get to her. She has to ignore all of them and when they talk sh*t about her dad she needs to smile and walk away. Because they'll quit once they see they can't get a reaction from her.

Sharon and Jen ask if she wants some time alone and they leave. Parker stays, wanting to be their for Amanda. Once alone, Amanda lets her insecurities come out and she asks him if she looks like a horse. He says no. Then she asks if she's ugly, he tells her to shut up. She gets out of the tub and he holds her, wanting to show her that he cares about her.

Amanda felt alone and knowing that everyone in the house hated her was an uncomfortable feeling.

k... that about wraps up the fight! LOL

Oh and thank you very much for the update!

The previews for tonight look very interesting.

I've decided I really hope Amanda stays in the house. I know she can be annoying with her voice and gossiping, but she's really growing on me. LOL

yeah... I agree. It was really weird. I think the Hudson virus thing refers to the show Jericho. I wonder if there will be a reward challenge to be on the show or something.

Amanda scared the crap out of me!!! James was awesome with how he kept his cool.

I don't trust Joshuah at ALL. 

I hope Amanda and Alex can pull it off and stay in the house.
