Hi! I'm star

I should do this too. My name is Claritta and I have been a daily visitor to eHarlequin for a long time now. I love the new community. Still trying to get used to some of it. I love to read and always describe myself as an avid with an aspiration to write. Maybe one day I will stop reading enough to write the stories in my head.

I acquired some new authors last year and I already have new ones on the list. My main problem is too many books and authors and not enough time. Cry If only someone would pay me to read. Cool

I look forward to chatting with fellow readers and chatting with Kimani authors here.

Claritta I know exactly

Claritta

I know exactly what you mean. I wish they were 30 hours in each day with 6 just for us readers to read... But I agree too many book and too little time.

Hello

Hello All,

My name is Gwyneth Bolton and I write for Kimani Romance along with two other publishers. My novel If Only You Knew was one of the launch novels for the line. I have four new Kimani Romance novels coming up in the 2008-09. The books will look at four brothers, two cops and two fire men. The series is called Hightower Honors and the first book in the series is titled Protect and Serve . I love to read romance novels as well. And many of my favorite authors also write for Kimani Romance. Sweet! Smile I would probably get so much more done if I didn't read so much, but... I can't help it. I'm a book junkie. Smile

Hello

Hi, my name is Arnita. I just love to read. I have been reading since I was very small. There was a time that I could not get the time to read. With raising three teenagers. But now they are gone and I took one of their closets to hold all my books. I was looking for one of Brenda Jackson's books online and found her bookclub. And as they say, the rest is history! I am enjoying meeting other readers and being able to get the books I like to read. Where I live, I can not really get them. I have fallen in love with Kimani romance. I will read others, but Kimani has my heart!Kiss

~ Arnita ~

Thanks...

Thanks Wayne. Wink You know you're one of my favorite. I can't wait until August is here and I get my next fix of the Knights!

Thanks so much, Tiffany. I appreciate you!

Hey my name is Candice.

Hey my name is Candice. I am habitual reader. I started reading as a hobby five years ago. Since then I have read about two hundred to three hundred books. I love romance novels. I usually go for the ones where they tell the first meeting. I really don't like books where the main characters already know each other at the beginning of the book. However, there are some that are great. I am currently reading, The Playboy's Proposition. I own at least one book from the authors that have posted in this thread.

As for myself, I just finished an introductory creative class at my university. I have started several projects prior to taking the class. I have a problem of never finishing.

Heylo, my name's Mel, but

Heylo, my name's Mel, but everyone just calls me Gelle (long story, far too embarrassing Wink), and I have been an avid reader for quite a few years now....I really only started reading romance novels a few years back, but since then-- well, let's just say it's becoming a happy habit...

I've read a couple hundred or so, and I agree with Candice-- I like it when they meet for the first time...I'm not too fond of the books where they already have a history, although there are the few exceptions of course...anyways, I've been visiting this eHarlequin for a bit over a year now and I enjoy a bit of everything, but I also really enjoy the Kimani Romance...love the warm n' tender ones! So I guess I'm just looking forward to discussing them Smile

Right now I'm in the middle of this suspense novel called No Safe Place by Joann Ross...it's better than I thought, the writing style and vocabulary is very good!

So, since I'm fairly new here, I'm looking forward to meeting people who enjoy reading romance as much as I do....not many people I know right now who do...Laughing So hello!

Gelle

Hi Gelle and

Hi Gelle and Candice

Thanks for dropping by. I'm sure we'll have lots of stuff to talk about.

I just loved your book

Hi Mr. Jordan,

I just wanted to tell you that I just read your book Embrcing the Moonlight. Loved it! You make a person want to pack their bags and go on a trip. Hell, reading the book is a trip. You got me on page 7 and could not put the book down. I have already ordered Slow motion and To Love A Knight. Now I have to order the other one and wait. I will be ordering the one coming out this year.

You can write and I'm so glad that someone found you and published your stories!

Hello

Hi, my name is Sheryl, and like all of you, I am an avid reader. I've been reading since forever. Several years ago, when I found out there were African-American writers, it was like hitting a gold mine. My only problem is that I read way too fast and I have to wait to get my favorite author's next bookSmile. I am definitely waiting for your next book, Wayne - I am loving the Knight Trilogy - as well as the Buchanan brothers stories. I'm hoping one day to re-read them in the context of the setting.....sitting on a beach in Barbados. Like Gwyneth, I will be up at 12:01a getting my books....tomorrow, as a matter of factLaughing Yippee!

Sheryl Thanks for

Sheryl

Thanks for dropping by and thanks for the compliment about my books. I'm sure that like you, Gwyneth and i, several of the Kimani regulars will be browsing and ordering their new books tomorrow. I for one will be...

Reader and Author

Hi Folks,

I was an avid reader which eventually led me to writing. I grew up in Guyana seeing the female elders in my family reading romances. When I was a teen in the U.S., I started reading them and got hooked. In 2002 I was published with BET writing Arabesques. Now I'm writing with Kimani Romances and loving life.

Looking forward to meeting everyone online.

Kimani Romance; April 2008

Hi

I'm new here. However, I've known about Kimani for awhile now from surfin' the net, but I never joined because I haven't read any of eHARLEQUIN books. A week ago, I pick up Playing For Keeps from Target and said to myself, "now is a good time join".

Hello

Hello fellow readers and Authors. My name is Rosalyn Mole. I love to read. I have been reading romance novels since I was 15yrs old. I love historic, christian, many different kinds. I use to never want to read, a AA book before last year. I think a lot had to do with the history of no romance going on in my own families lives. I just didn't see us as romantic. But now after reading my first AA book over a year ago, I can not read anything else. I am also a member of the brendajackson fan club. I love the AA books and I want to learn more about new authors and more books to read.

Give God thanks in all things.

Welcome...

Hi Rosalyn

Welcome to the Kimani boards. Of course this is the best place to be when you want to discuss AA romance. I'm a member of Brenda's club too.

Don't be a stranger.

Hello to readers

I'd like to introduce myself -- Anita Bunkley. I am happy to join the Kimani Romance conversation. My first Kimani release was Suite Embrace in January and my next will be Suite Temptation in September. Hello to all of my fans and thanks for their support!

Hello Wayne

I'm Iris Bolling and when I grow up I want to be just like all of you that currently write for Kimani. Like most of you I am an avid reader. Have been most of my life. I discover AA Romance about five years ago with Brenda Jackson and never looked back. I began writing in 2005 and have just self-published my first novel, "Once You've Touched The Heart" which was released in March 2008. Wayne, like others I'm awaiting the realease of the next Knight, although Shayne remains fondly in my mind. Ms. Bolton, the Hightower series is also on my list. Since joining Kimani, I have enjoyed serveral established authors and been pleasantly surprised by the introduction of new ones. By joining the community I look forward to learning all I can about this industry and supporting other authors. One day soon I hope to be a Kimani author. (did I say hope, that's not positive thinking, let me change that) One day soon I will be a Kimani author........

I have questions

Hi, I'm Mari and not pubbed with Harlequin (yet...I hope) and am interested in writing IR. I like my romances really hot, and I was wondering if Kimani considered doing a line of Blaze type books with IR and MC characters? I know I have writer friends who would be all over that.

Welcome...

Anita, Iris, Marianne

Welcome ot the boards..

Anita: I've read several of your books. Your earlier fiction and now the romance. I've nejoyed the all..

Iris: Definitely keep working at it. One day, we'll be welcoming you to the forum as an author.

Marianne: For now I know that Kimani's focus is romance featuring AA hero and heroine. Like all the others line, the AA authors can submit to other lines...so it's really up to the authors to submit stories with AA main characters to the other lines like Blaze etc.
