 Shirley here.  Just popping in to see what's going on.  The new format threw me for a moment, but I got it.  I like that I can add this to my favourites (English Spelling) and not have a difficult time finding it as I did with the other format.

 I didn't see whether you'd gotten an answer about New Spirit not accepting submissions on the old board before it was shut down.  I'm putting this here because we apparently can't start new discussions in the New Spirit folder.

Hello I am new to this forum but I am happy to know that they have it.  Now maybe I may get answers to my long awaited question.Being an Arabesque reader before Harlequin buy out, I know most of these books are no longer in publishing.  I would like to know would Kimaini be able to re-release some of these published authors in the near future.I am interested in all of Alice Wootsen as well as a sequel of Linda Walter "On a Wing and a Prayer" which was "A Matter of Time".  I would appreciate any input or direction on this subject thank you.  I really enjoy books with sequels and continued characters.

Hi Shirley H.

I got your newsletter the other day and was glad to see the Claytons continuing. Since they are not being published under Harlequin, I will have to go out and search for the latest. Hopefully my local Walmart will have it. They are usually my first try.

The Clayton series aren't all from Harlequin.  There are several books published by Kensington.  The newer books are from Kensington.

The Secret - Shirley H. I read Owen's story this weekend and all I can say is this reaffirms my decision to read more from my shelf is stop buying so many books. On the other hand if I stop buying books I won't have so many hidden treasures on my shelf. I don't know how I didn't relate this book to the earlier Clayton books. I know it had something to do with the change is publisher.

I live in Charleston and we have used book trading places.  That is how i got a chance to read all of Brenda Jackson and Francis Rays, and other that where printed long ago.  I realzie this is a foru not looked at much, because a lot of this things where posted 2 months ago.  But if that person still wants to get out of print books check eba and places like that.

Wayne - Right now I can't get into ebooks. I don't have a reader and sitting in front of my computer to read is not fun. Maybe I'll try  a reader someday, but I'm kind of old-fashioned with it comes to reading.

I love e-books, print books, all kinds of books. Since I'm a bookaholic... I read my e-books on my laptop for now. I have a huge computer file full of them. I would love to get an e-book reader. The Sony Readers are so nice. A friend of mine has one here and I just love it. It has a nice leather case and it's so sleek. I would love to get one. But I can't seem to stay out of the mall. I spent my e-book money on a cute summer wardrobe...

So I guess I'll be reading them on the laptop for a little while longer...

I just saw Narnia and Indiana Jones.  And I bought Season 2 of Monk because he makes me laugh.  Dark Knight is a must-see.  I'm not sure about Hancock.  Must see Mark Wahlberg in It's Happening - Sci-fi apocalyptic movie.

But I've been doing some reading too.  I haven't bought any e-books because I work in the day job on a computer and write my books on the laptop.  Physically holding a book is a release from the gadgets.

I supposed folks are heading out on vacations since it's summer time.  I'm heading off in five days on my vacation and can't wait.

But also I have a book deadline, so I'm trying to stay off the Internet (and as you can see not doing so well).

Wanted and Dark Knight have been added to my list too. I almost went to see Wanted this weekend, but I messed around and missed my time slot. We have a theatre that has a twilight matinee between 4-6 and I piddled around until I missed the 4:30 time slot.  There's always the long weekend coming up. Maybe I'll do two movies - Hancock and Wanted.

One movie checked off my list!!! I went to see Hancock yesterday. I enjoyed it. Has anyone else seen it yet?
