Over the last couple of days I've read another two books ~ both HQN titles... but there are times throughout the day where sitting down with a book just isn't possible... could have something to do with two 2 ½ year old boys and a one-year-old girl running around the place.
But when the kidlets are here playing in the room beside me, I've got a few minutes during which I can read a few pages here or there. I have eight SPICE Briefs that I *somehow* managed to end up with last week, or the week before... darned books just don't stay where they're supposed to!
So, as I began earlier, while I was working through Susan Andersen's Coming Undone and Stef Ann Holm's All the Right Angles, I've managed to get three of the eight Briefs read. Once they're all finished, I'll be doing the Book review thing and then they'll count. But I imagine that they'll continue to fill in the bits and pieces of minutes that I manage to find here and there throughout the day. To date I've read the three following Briefs:
1. Jenesi Ash ~ Anything You Want (3 stars)
2. Kimberly Kaye Terry ~ Come Back to Me (4 stars)
3. Charlotte Featherstone ~ Forever Yours (4 stars)
The latter two are very much romances with strong erotic overtones while the first is an erotic romp; but they've been a great way to finish up a story quickly and yet still have enough time to get into it.
So while I'm not a huge eBook fan, I am enjoying the benefits of having some on my computer... and I figure that I'll be finished the other five in no time so that I can do a proper review!

Hi Kathy
I enjoyed Stef Ann Holm's All the Right Angles and hope you enjoy it also. I don't think I could read with little ones either.
Jeannie
Yes I am a readalholic and I don't want the 12 step program!!!
Spice Briefs
Hey Kathy!
I do enjoy the Spice Briefs. It's interesting how many different angles authors can take in the shorter format. I have read a few this month, but haven't blogged them yet. I need to read a few more in order to get closer to the 200 pg mark to blog them together.
The two I read this month(so far
) were: Goldilocks and the Three Barons by Nancy Madore, and The Inivitation by Lacey Danes.
Talk to you soon!

Thanks for the comment. I
Thanks for the comment. I think Sophie Kinsella is a wonderful writer! I listened to the audio book at work and I felt like an idiot while I laughed out loud through the whole book. Im waiting on the library to get the first shopaholics book so I can start the series.
Jwnne
Hey all...
Jeannie, I did like it; but then I knew that I would. I have to admit that I've liked some of her other contemps more, but just because I kept wanting to cry throughout this one... just let's say that this one hit a little close to home.
Tammy, I have Lacey Danes' story too, as well as Sarah McCarty's Letting Go; Cathleen Ross's Pyschic Sex; Eden Bradley's Soul Stranger; and Delilah Devine's Invite Me In. Let me just say that I think I'll be doing more reading from those than I will my book today.
Jwnne, Oh boy, her Shopaholic series is another gut-buster. My daughters read the books too, but none of them laughed like I did. And then I'd think of something in the book and off I'd go again. Although, to date, I've only read the first three. I have Shopaholic and Sister on my TBR, but my girls said that they didn't like it as much as the other three. Still I'll give it a chance... after all, it's been proven that what I like and what they like are often different.
Have you read Undomestic Goddess? It's another great story.
