Although I miss the old smilies, and it has taken a while to get used to the new format, I have to say, I think I like the new community boards. In fact, I'm wasting, er, em, spending more time here now than I did before. (That could be a bad thing, as I'm supposed to be finishing a novel. 
)
One thing I have been doing is going through the old 10,000 Book Challenge Blogs and copying off all my entries. These will disappear when they are ready to take them away, so if you haven't saved your old posts and think you will want them, or someone's interesting reply, you should go save them to your hard drive by means of a word processing program. I had some very lovely comments last year. Not only that, but it's helping me set up my Shelfari bookshelf.
