Bones

Calling all Angel fans -- David Boreanaz is in a new show -- BONES --

Monday Nights at 8pm !

DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline. Law enforcement calls on her to assist with murder investigations when the standard methods of identifying a body are useless – when the remains are badly decomposed, burned or destroyed beyond recognition. Brennan’s special expertise lies in her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones.

Brennan often finds herself teamed with Special Agent SEELEY BOOTH (David Boreanaz) of the FBI’s Homicide Investigations Unit. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists – the “squints,” as he calls them, who pore over the physical evidence. Booth believes the key to solving crimes lies in discovering the truth from those still alive – witnesses and suspects – through good-old-fashioned investigative work. Brennan and Booth frequently clash both professionally and personally, but so far the chemistry between them has only played out in a fictionalized account in Brennan’s latest mystery novel.

The episode that was on

The episode that was on tonight was not one I had seen. It must have been a repeat I missed.  Anyway I am a real fan of the show.

I really love this show, i can't wait until they start showing the new episodes...

Count Me In

I love Bones -- I just bought one of her books to read, but I couldn't get the first one in her series -- they are out of print and so pricey to get hold of! I'm looking forward to reading it...

Got Books?

I am a big fan

I love this show.   I did not watch when it first started so missed half of the first season......but have gotten it on dvd from netflix....so I am all caught up.

I just recently read all of Kathy Reichs books....through the library.   They were good also....a little techniqual, and detailed......I prefer Booth on the series to Ryan in the books.

This years Christmas show was good, but I like the first Christmas show when we learn that Booth has a son....

I think the next one  on Fox on Tuesday should be a new one.....

I know that TNT just started the series on Tuesday nights....and they are starting at the begining....

lisa

New shows!

Just read there will be new epis starting April 14... I guess we'll only have between 4-7 new epis of shows we are waiting for before the summer break, but then they'll be back in the fall... still, it's better than nothing.

I've sort of forgotten where this one left off... seems like eons ago...

I hope I'll get a chance to watch the first one sometime in the summer.

Yes my birthday is coming up next Sunday.  We have a dinner planned with Family and Friends.

Did anyone see this week's episode

My favorite line was when Booth said, why would anyone want to save the rats.  I love this show.

Tammy

i hate that they put bones

i hate that they put bones and house on monday. it's opposite dancing with the stars and i have been watching that from the beginning. i just hope that during the summer they will repeat them both.

ellen

Anyone

just as upset by last night's episode as I was?  And then I watched House afterwards and oh, it was one upsetting night of television for me!

I haven't seen it yet...

But what was upsetting? I don't care about spoilers, I would rather avoid an upsetting show...

okay,

I just caught up with both epis last night and loved them! they were amazing. I didn't find anything really upsetting, except the end with what happened to Booth, but we know he'll be okay in the end... so I never find that stuff too upsetting...

They're doing such a great job with this show and the characters.

Zack NOOOOOOO

Zack NOOOOOOO

Worrying is like a rocking chair,it gives you something to do,but it gets you nowhere.

Yeah, kinda saw that one

Yeah, kinda saw that one coming -- though I also think the storyline will come back, I personally suspect that Sweets is still the big bad, and Zack was just taking the fall, creating a diversion so that his "Master" could continue his work uninterrupted. I mean, the whole scene catching of the guy with the teeth in the house was very anti-climactic and too glossed over -- they just shoot this guy, they never say a word about him, who he is, who he'd gotten that time, where he came from... and he didn't look like a bulb bright enough to convince brilliant people to follow him. He looked like a patsy, covering for someone else.

And Zack's directions came too easily, and it all worked out far too cleanly -- like it was all part of a plan. They also focused on Sweets a little too much, how he's manipulating people, even at the end, and there was What's her face, the boss who used to be a cop, who nailed Sweets. I still think it's Sweets running the show, and they'll come back to it next year. After all, he has the psychological brilliance to manipulate people like Zack, and he's always around...

If they don't come back to him, I think it's a mistake, and kind of a lazy way to have wrapped up the storyline...

Did anyone fall for the fake funeral? *G*

Sam --- I've been thinking

Sam --- I've been thinking the same way......it was too calm an ending no real suspense......something is still wrong and I hope they start next season with a new surprise beginning.

Ellen,

"Calm" is a good word, yes -- it was just "off" -- I really do think it will come back...
