I hate my picture. I tried to delete it and post another...but it keeps bringing this one back. It did tag my blog posts with the pic I wanted, but then I post here and "HELLO pink shirt!" Will that go away in a few weeks?

I absolutely adored Temptation and Sensation. I started them both when they began and bought everyone until my Husband lost his job and I was no longer able to afford them in 2000, However, I managed to pick up a number of the later ones from Charity Shops. I miss many of the Authors and that style of book which doesn't seem to be catered for at present in the ranges offered.

When you think which authors moved from Temptation and Sensation to the really big time its amazing.

It's my wee boy Hayden in the pic. At my grandfather's funeral...but it was so cute and much better than the pepto shirt!

Kate - I do hope that by now there is some good news about your Dad.

In the UK, M and B Extra have been around for a while, I looked on the web site for this month and can't find any.

A big problem over here is that many shops only sell selected lines, usually the ones that they know will sell, and so it is not so easy to get hold of them.

Hopefully with Harlequintaking them up we will see more of the books and they will be better promoted.

Kate, I checked and In Bed with Her Italian Boss will be available at eHarlequin.com in April under Harlequin Special Releases.  I look forward to checking it out.

Hi Claire, some of the Modern Heats are being released as Presents.  And some aren't.  I'm not 100% sure if it's the plan to release most of them in the future this way.  I know that three of my six backlist will be/have been Presents.  At the moment they're being released in special collections but after May, I think, they're coming out as normal Presents.

Maybe someone else has better information?

 Claire, there are at least 2/4 Modern Extras being released in the US a month but not in the order they were released in the UK. I'm not sure when Anne's is being released BUT, one place you can find out upcoming lreleases is on a site several of us Modern Heat authors have put together - sensational romance (just google it together with Modern Heat)

Thanks, guys - I am in "dog with six tails" mode - absolutely thrilled and stunned and so happy. Am probably not making much sense right now (and I've been on tea today rather than champagne!)

Had a fabulous time yesterday (pics and full details on the blog as I was too excited to sleep when I got home last night) - and it was great to see Liz F and Lucy G and Julie and Fiona and a whole heap of others.

And I'm very proud of my fellow shortlistees. I've read all the books on the list and they were all great - and being shortlisted is in itself a real honour.
