Terri
Got Books?
Now come on Terri - it should be
me you're trying to beat

Well, Sadhbh ..
You know I cant possibly read that fast.
Terri
Got Books?
Terri you

Sadhbh and Terri
Sadhbh
You read more than 70 books in January! How could anyone read more than you do? I read fast but only for an hour or so each day. So, 12 was the best I could do last month. 20 might be the best I ever do any month. I am completely blown away at how many books you have read.
Teri
I may have beat you by 1 this month but we are still in the same league!
Tammy
Tammy
Tammy- I dont know how Sadhbh does it.
I read with every spare moment, and I am lucky if i get 10 or 11 read in a month.
Sadhbh-you must have extra eyes and hands ...have access to multiple time zones or something.

Got Books?
My recipe is simple
I'm a fast reader and I don't do anything else

If I didnt have to....
If I didnt have to work, or sleep, I could spend all my time reading.

I manage to work, sleep (a little) and love my DH and kids
and then read, but housework and chores don't get a look-in

If I could get half
Sadhbh, if I could only read one half of the books you read each month, then I would consider myself as keeping up. I only wish I could read more. I am so jealous of your numbers (not really, I think my brain would ache). I read 30 in January, but already 4 this month
and that puts me one ahead of the number of days in the month so that must be good. I am off to see Gypsy with friends today, so likely won't finish another this weekend. AND I must find time to vacuum up some of the dog hair.....even I can't ignore it much longer. Happy reading all!
Bonsal
I really envy you guys
who can read so much...but I just seem to average about 10-12 a month....depending on the book (thickness, reading level, content). Some are easier to read than others....some days have more sitting time than others.

The longer
The longer you see her posts the more you'll know you don't have a prayer of catching Sadhbh. The rest of us mere mortals just plug away and do the best we can. I wanted to read a few more this month but sadly I only read 26 for January. I'm trying to figure out a way to teach P.E. and read at the same time. So far it's a bust on that. I do listen to audios when I'm working on my gradebook. I'll keep working on that Sadhbh someone needs to give you a little competition. Yeah Right, I know you're really worried about us catching up with you.

26 books is impressive....keep up the good work.

and I've been bemoaning the fact that I've been rereading
a lot lately and so my numbers are down
Keep plodding away, I've no problems with someone managing to read more than me
Dream Team 2008 Challenge blogs
Compared to you Sadhbh
we're all plodding along! LOL
But I'll keep my reading just the way that I want it ~ I usually manage to read a couple or three books more than days in the month... I figure I'm doing something right! On the reading front anyway....

Kathy - we have the same reading goals
I try to read a couple or three books per day in the month
Dream Team 2008 Challenge blogs
well, I start
I start a new book, about every day and a half to two days, depending on the books. Some have more stuff to pay attention to, some are just breezy. Some are thicker than others....most harlequin books are easy to read and I can get one done in about a day and a half.
But the Black Dagger books or Lord of The Rings have lots of information to process and require a lot more attention. You have to pay attention from the very beginning or you by book 3 you get lost.
