Dear Friends and Readers,
Something about February always brings expectations. Love and chocolate!!!!! And talk about expectations, I’m currently sitting on pins and needles while waiting to hear the verdict about my next book. After spending several days and hours working on revisions for my new editor at Mills & Boon, I have now re-submitted the book for consideration. My working title is The Mending Hearts Club, but we all know if they buy the book, the title will change. So while you’re all enjoying the month of love and chocolate I’ll be grumpy and biting my nails. Trust me, as soon as I hear any news, I’ll blab it on my Home announcement page. In keeping with the power of positive thinking, this will be book number six.
January was a monumental month for me when I realized that Harlequin Enterprises released four Medical Romances into stores in North America as a special promotion, and my book SINGLE DAD, NURSE BRIDE, was one of them! The same four books are currently available on eHarlequin.( in case you missed them in the stores.
To sweeten my “happy” pot, I received a lovely 4 star review from Cataromance for SDNB and two fantastic reader reviews on Amazon.com. I’m ecstatic that my story and characters, Rikki and Dane, are connecting with people. If you’ve read the book and have any comments, or if you’ve spotted my book anywhere I didn’t mention, I’d love to hear from you! Visit my contact/contest page to leave an e-mail. Since February is the month of love, I’ve got some special goodies to offer in my contest. To enter, stop by and tell me what your favorite love story is.
I am currently hero shopping (already thinking about writing my next book) and need a guy who is approximately twenty-seven years old. He is a Police Officer and also a National Guard Special Forces Medic who needs to brush up on his field Medic skills before going back on duty for six months. He was a former high school bad guy and still rides a motorcycle. If any faces come to mind, would you please consider contacting me with your suggestions? I definitely want to have a clear picture of my hero before I begin writing the next Mercy Hospital book.
Until March, happy reading, and I hope you get a special surprise on Valentine’s Day!
Love and chocolate,
Lynne
Best Wishes,
Lynne Marshall
