Free...?

Well yesterday I was bored… okay, really procrastinating doing the bills which I still have to finish
and decided to browse the net. I decided to look at ereader updates.
Specifically the creation of the product I think should be made(see
previous lengthy posts on this subject). It sounds like its coming,
but its not here yet.
But it also sounds like they’re going to be REALLY expensive so most
likely not something I can get right away anyhow. And truly, I really
do love my pda. Love it. Sooooo, why was I looking? Didn’t want to
do the bills, remember.

Well, I was doing my browsing and came across a site that said I could get a free kindle.

hmmmm I thought, what’s the catch?

I read a little further and it said I had to sign up for 2 of their programs.

hmmmm I thought, annoying… but a Kindle??? hmmmm, okay I’ll take a peek.

So I do, and decided it wouldn’t be so bad signing up(they have tons
to pick from like credit cards to movie programs)… a credit card is no
big deal to me… use it once get rid of it. I’m not worried there, done
that tons of times before and I never had the prospect of getting a
KINDLE for doing it.
And then another program was Netflix which I was already thinking of
trying out because I need a movie called Dumb and Dumber for research
on my ms where I need to quote a few lines and our movie store doesn’t
have it and really their selection is small… so I’d already been
considering this. So I thought, why not? You’ll get a kindle…. A KINDLE!

So I signed up.

Except…

(knew that was coming didn’t you?) Except its NOT just signing up for 2 programs... you have to give them 6 referrals!!!!! And the referrals have to sign up for two things too.

Yeah, I’m disappointed. Irked and kicking myself in the butt for
being suckered in.(Don’t have a pan head hitting smilie cause if I did,
this is where I’d insert it!) I would love to have that kindle. I
knew it was too good to be true. KNEW IT. But I wanted that Kindle
for free. *sigh*

Don’t suppose any of you out there want to be a referral? You could get a free kindle!
