As so many of you know my kids have been bowling a long time. Several weeks ago Brian bowled really well for him, and won a spot on an All-Star team to compete in a monthly (or so) competition. To win that spot he has to bowl high enough above his average to beat others who have bowled well too. This week he'll get to bowl on the All Star team again. If he can earn more opportunites and the team makes it to the state level he'll get to be part of that experience. When Richard was at this level he got to compete at the state level twice, and there's only about 150 kids in Texas who get that honor.
Saturday Richard decided to sub on a league. He was still on vacation, and had been knocked out of the tournament he had entered, so was looking for something to do. He ended up bowling his first adult 300 game. Almost exactly 5 years ago he did this as a youth. He will get something similar to a class ring for his accomplishment. The youth ring is different than the adult ring, so now he'll have a matched set!

Wonderful,
to have such good news to report. Your boys really have done a lot with their bowling. Reminds me that one day this week the ladies on The View did a bowling tournament! Very funny as Joy Behar looked like she never had bowled!! It was good entertainment. Only Elizabeth looked like she knew what she was doing.
Have a good rest of the weekend.
Take care, happy reading,
