February Blahs!

I must say this has been the icy-est, messy February in years.  Flu season has been in full swing, tax sean has been wild, and my writing flat.

How is your month going?

My February is..

almost over (he he-just kidding). My February is going just about the same as any other month.  I just go to work, go to the gym, read, watch tv.

Trying to keep my morale up is a major daily battle (and I don't even have any problems apart from the lack of morale)

The one good thing about February is DS2's birthday (today) and the fact that it's nearly over

Hey Sadhbh - it is my son's birthday today as well (turns 3).  We did the party for family and friends over the weekend, so it is just the kids and us tonight - perfect.  Of course I had to make cupcakes last night for preschool, so I had to work late.  But all is done - well except wrapping some presents, but I am leaving early to do that, and then we are having a nice relaxed night.

Cady

Hi Cady - I'd forgotten that B is exactly a year older

but then I've forgotten a lot of things in the last couple of months

Hope he has a fun birthday

Don't worry, I will be as

Don't worry, I will be as amazed next year, as I am horrible about things like that.  Takes me forever to remember birthdays and such.  Hope you all have a great evening.

So it's not just me. Is it because of the leap year?

I have a lot to do and no energy to do it. I can't blame it on my hubby being out of the country because I love him but sometimes it is like having another kid around.

It's also hard to write with one kid or another home from school with the flu. Then you mix in a holiday and teacher off days. (I know teachers need these days but I want my kids at school.)

My hubby's B-Day was the 20th and my son's was the 23rd. Thank goodness it's a short month.

Feb has been tough...

It's had a few high spots, but if you're into astrology, you know we had mercury retrograde and two eclipses, and sheesh... so glad it's past and looking forward to March! Of course, here in Syracuse, spring is still a ways away -- snowstorm today and tomorrow... ugh. I need sun and daffodils...

Sam - we've got sun, daffodils, narcissi, cherry blossoms

and are worried about possible frost and snow

Of couse eating on the terrace at lunchtime with 20°C temperatures in February is nice Smile (it's the 40°C in July/August which doesn't appeal as much!)

February for me has been

February for me has been full of ever changing weather below 20 one day, 70 the next. I had the flu or flu like something earlier this month and the last of my congestion is finally gone. As I look at my window I can see the sunlight for a change. Cool

Happy birthday to Sadhbh &

Happy birthday to Sadhbh's & Cady's sons.

I am glad to know it was not just me on this month.

So does anyone know of any leap year birthdays here on the boards?  Since they are few and far between I want to wish them well.

Thank you everyone!  Back to taxes...
