A PASSIONATE AFFAIR - A Week With Maureen Smith.

A Risky Affair

Maureen Smith ends her "Affair" trilogy with A RISKY AFFAIR. Ever wonder what inspires those wonderful stories we've come to expect from her? What inspired her to write the "Affair" Trilogy? And what to expect for her next?

Join us for a week long session with this talented rising star of AA romance.  Let's chat about her work, her passion for writing and of course, her recent release, A RISKY AFFAIR.

Welcome...

Hi All

Please join me in welcoming Maureen Smith to our community this week.  Maureen will be chatting about her work, the "Affai" Trilogy, and her hopefully, her upcoming release.

I had the privilege to read and review her very first book a few years ago and have enjoyed every new release.

Her latest novel, A RISKY AFFAIR, was released this month under the Kimani Romance imprint.

I absolutely loved this

I absolutely loved this series but I have to say my favorite has to be Caleb's story but Dane is running a very close second Smile For me the "Affair" series drew me in from the beginning and I just didn't want it to end.  The "Affair" series is one of my favorite series.

A Risky Affair

I loved it !! and I agree w/ Tiffany, Caleb owns my heart, but Dane was slowly working his magic, I hated that it had to come to an end, maybe Maureen will take pity on us and find another Roarke "stashed" away somewhere.

Great Job Maureen!! as with all of your books.  I can't get enoughLaughing

She's Done It Again

A Risky Affair was another great read!!  I know this is "supposed" to be the last book in the series but I hope not!!Laughing  One of my favorite part is when Dane appeared in the rain...lawd lawd lawd...LOL!

A RISKY AFFAIR

Hey, Wayne & Maureen!

My Affair with the Thornes and Roarkes

Hi everyone!

Wayne, thank you so much for inviting me to participate in the Kimani forum this week! It's great to be here.

Ladies, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your wonderful comments. I'm so thrilled that you've enjoyed the "Affair" series! That really means a lot to me. I've been asked by several readers to continue the series, so I'm seriously thinking about it. I'm sure I can definitely find another Thorne or Roarke to bring to life. Smile

The challenge with writing series is keeping each story fresh and introducing readers to new characters they can fall in love with, even if they will always have that special favorite (which seems to be Caleb, LOL). But, of course, the other challenge with writing a series is knowing when it's time to have the "series finale." You know how some TV shows just drag on, season after season, and wear out their welcome? LOL. That's something I would never want to do to my readers! So I will definitely count on y'all to let me know when it's time for a "finale." Laughing

But another reason I wouldn't mind doing another installment is that after I finished writing A Risky Affair (and exceeded my word count!), I realized I would have liked to give readers a final scene with everyone included. So that means bringing the whole gang together, including Pamela Roarke and spunky Grandma Florinda.

Anyway, I'd love to answer any questions y'all may have about any of the books in the series (or any of my other titles, for that matter).

So please feel free to ask away! Smile

Hugs,
Maureen

Thanks for dropping by.  I know how busy your schedule is.  I'm halfway through the book and loving it.  have to take a break from doing end of semester grades to read a page or two ever so often.
