And here it is...

So who's reading this exciting new series?

Anyone been to a school reunion? I have to admit, I've missed all of mine. They're always during the RWA convention, which is a reunion of sorts, except that it's with people I know and like as opposed to the school mates I don't really know all that well.

I've read...

the first and the second is in my short list of books to be read.  Enjoyed the first one a lot!  I've only had one high school reunion so far, and yes, I went to it... but only because my best friend from high school contacted me specifically to go.  I haven't gone to any of my college reunions but a bunch of us stay in contact regardless so it's not as big of a deal.

reunions

I went to my 10-year college Homecoming (which was a "reunion" of sorts), and last summer I went to my 20-year High School reunion, which was a lot of fun! I went alone, though; my hubby was in Iraq. Nothing kills a conversation like the answer to "Where's your husband?" "He's in Iraq." **crickets chirping**

reunion

The closest I have come to a reunion (either my high school or college one) was to be in on the planning of one of my high school reunions while I was home on vacation. But I couldn't attend the actual reunion because school would be in session (I taught) and I couldn't be gone at the beginning. It was great to see everyone at the meeting, however. And we kept in touch on an email loop. Things changed though after Katrina hit. I haven't heard from too many since then. I lived in Biloxi.

Mom's reading the first one

I just recently ordered it, since my subscription started with the February books.  She said the only things wrong with the LI books is that she picks them up to read while eating, and then she can't switch back to the library books afterward.  They're just too good!  WinkCool

I'll start it when she finishes.  It's going to be hard to wait until the others are out........  Maybe I should wait until I have them all... (although waiting would be hard, too...)

New here

I'm loving your book, Margaret! I live here in Mississippi, too. Survived Katrina with a flooded house. We've since moved to higher ground about 10 miles northwest.

I'm new to Love Inspired. I usually read Home and Family-Supers, HA, and SSE. I love romance and romantic suspense.

Hello, Hope!

LindaC, welcome to these

LindaC, welcome to these boards. I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I lived in Biloxi growing up. It's so sad what happened with Katrina. I've gone through several hurricanes but nothing like that one.

Katrina

God willing we won't see another like her for a very long time. He was really good to my family despite the hurricane. Our house had been flooded three times before(we were in it for Georges, the previous owners had it for Elena and Camille), but we owed too much to sell it then. When Katrina flooded it nearly to the ceiling, we got enough to pay it off with insurance money and move to higher ground.

Margaret, I also ordered Heart of the Family. It will probably be a late Easter present. Better late than never though. Books are the very best presents!

Way to Go

I love how the clues are dropped in and I have to keep waiting for the next story - even though the current story is 'mostly'  a standalone.  This series (I've read the first two) is great!

I bought "Missing Persons"

I bought "Missing Persons" at Borders not realizing I had missed the first one so will have to catch up on Tuesday when I order books from eHarlequin.  I just finished reading MP and really enjoyed it and am looking foward to the rest of the series.  Too bad it will be a while before I get them.Yell

I do plan on reading this series ......

I have the first four books and the fifth is on its way .... once I have the sixth book ordered I'll start reading the series  ...... I like to read connected books in order, so I don't forget the details ..

I'm on the sixth book of last year's series The Secrets of Stoneley ... wow, what a great series ... and every author that contributed is a new author for me .... I'm not usually a Love Inspired reader, I tend to go for more of the tighter more intense series like Presents, Intrigues, Medicals ...... I am thoroughly enjoying my first experience with the line

those of you that are reading Reunion Revelations and have read Secrets of Stoneley, how do the two compare?   ... is it fair for me to ask?

I just finished reading

I just finished reading "Hidden in the Wall" and really loved it.  It did keep me up past my bedtime because I had to see how it ended but that's ok I can sleep late.  I also have "Don't Look Back" and "In His Sights" and "A Face in the Shadows" is on order.  I usually read all the books in a series only after I get all of them but I this time I made the mistake of reading the second book first before realizing it was a series (ok so my brain took a day off).  Now I have to decide whether to read the next two books right now or wait until I get the last one.Yell

Hi Margaret .....

Yes, I really enjoyed the Secrets of Stoneley series .... in fact, I just asked hostie Lorie to put in a word to have the series offered as an eBundle in the eBoutique and I suggested that the series would be great in audio, and in fact might attract different readers to the line if offered through Audible  ..... I think the line would appeal to many readers that are not necessarily "romance" readers

Debbie (debiw781) just did a marvelous review of your "Heart of the Amazon" ..... as I've not yet read a book of yours, and this one is in my TBR, I think I'll put that one in this month's reading order .... she hinted that there is a followup book to this one?

I am very much looking forward to the final instalment to this series, so I can jump right in ....

Katherine, Heart of the

Katherine, Heart of the Amazon is the first book with Buried Secrets the second and Forsaken Canyon the third. Buried Secrets was my October 2008 book and Forsaken Canyon is coming out in October 2009. They are loosely connected but definitely stand alone. I really enjoyed writing all three. Heart of the Amazon was a book of my heart. I love the jungle and have always been intrigued with the Amazon. There is adventure, suspense and a mystery in each one.
