Reading With Hosty Wayne - AFTER HOURS - Rochelle Alers

After Dark

You're read "Street Life" and are eager to share your thoughts about AFTER HOURS.  Then this is the perfect place to begins.  Like you, I was titilated and intrigued with the prequel to Ms. Alers'

After Hours

As I was finishing the last two chapters of Street Life, I was holding After Hours in my hand and could not wait to get into it.  Although, I was looking for Myles to make an appearance, I was more than impressed with Lance Haynes.  SealedNot to spoil it for those that have not read it yet, with all that took place, Adina/Dina still has not reached the heroine status for me.  It was a great story which I enjoyed and the prequel/prologue (Street Life) kept me in suspense.

Great story, RochelleSmile

Heroine Status

Hi Smoothjazzreader.  I'm so glad you posted first.  Like, you, I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't finished reading AFTER HOURS, but it looks as if Adina/will become a very interesting character for readers to analysis.

What can I say about Lance?  He's a true prince.Wink

I can feel it.

Miss. Rochelle, I had to stop reading the chapter online, and WAIT for my book to come.

I was just teasing myself. So when it comes I will finish then . I know it will be good I can feel it, that’s

What my grandmother use to say. I have love what I read so far, even with all the WAITS. LOLInnocent

Myles?

Rochelle, in Street Life, you kind of left Myles out there.  Will we see him anytime in the future?  I didn't think he was so bad, but I sure wanted something to happen to Payne, but such is life.

BTW it was humorous when Lance thought he was going to have a heart attack and  even went to the doctor.Laughing

Myles and Lance

In AFTER HOURS Adina severs contact with everyone in her past.  And that includes Myles.  You see him as a "not so bad guy," but remember he is into criminal activities.  What I didn't do in the online read was show you his dark side, unlike Payne who is truly a sociopath.

I coudn't stop smiling after writing the HONEY DIP scene. Wink   Poor Lance!
