I really, really am. Taking a three year old over to get a root
canal(his second) and a few cavities done on one quadrant…is beyond
tiring. How many more quadrants to go?…. *sigh* I’m finally home and
he’s actually playing…which truly astounds me. Kids are astounding,
you know that?
This morning I had good news, I’d lost another 3 pounds! So that
made my day. And I found the marathon I want to participate in come
October. =) I’ve put the link to the marathon in my south beach log.
I’m having so much fun thinking about it and working out!
I also wrote like a mad woman this morning excited to get some more
scenes down on paper. Funny thing was, I then connected a few scenes
I’d written earlier that are still there but made some major
alterations. Something which always happens and is a method that
really works for me–when I think of a scene I know I want in there, I
write it down knowing that many elements are likely to change when I
get that far but its like a check point if you will…it helps me learn
my plot and characters better. So this morning went like this: write,
write, write…connect, delete, blend, delete, blend, write, connect,
delete, blend, delete, write, delete…. see the pattern here? Well,
when I had to stop and get the day rolling, I looked down at my word
count to record it and… I was 2,000 less then where I’d started this morning.
LOL, *sigh* yes, such is life. I’m not disappointed cause this is
how my writing always seems to go. I understand it but I actually
thought this morning that with all the writing I’d done first, I’d be
way above what I’d deleted. But nope. So I’m going to try and find
the energy to write another 2000 words tonight after I do the lovely
bills. (Yuck) I have several scenes dying to get rough drafted so it
should be pretty simple and this will keep me on track.
Okay to get on that.
Hope you all are having a good start to your week!

((hugs))
for your poor baby - hideous when they have to have stuff done like that huh? One of my twins has to have an eye op repeated cos it was only successful for one eye - and as she had a major 'blip' under the general Iast time I'm really not looking forward to it...
ANYWAY, hope you get your words done tonight. Am stopping in cos I want you to email me - I saw that ages back you asked about some of my other books being released in the US and I know 2 aren't scheduled at this stage.... BUT thought I'd send you one anyway as a random giveaway :)
Email soon!

Oh My!
Natalie, what a wonderful surprise to get this early in the morning! YAY! I'm off to email you but not before saying, I hope your little one goes through the procedure successfully. Bringing kids to get these things done is not easy.
Talk to you soon!
