It's Time to Ramble - Reading List, Mini Challenge and Other Things on My Mind

I enjoyed the mini challenge this month. As you can see I was a little creative with some of my connections, but I it worked for me. I had read 4 books before the announcement of this month’s challenge and could not find a way to connect the first two, but the 3rd and 4th book connected showing a little of my creativity.

  1.  Taming Clint Westmoreland – Brenda Jackson

  2.  Sweeter Than Revenge – Ann Christopher

  3. The Secret – Shirley Hailstock (Dafina Books/Kensington) leads to Texas Bluff because it deals with secrets.

  4. Texas Bluff – Linda Warren (Harlequin Superromance) leads to Dancing on Sunday Afternoon with Linda

  5. Dancing on Sunday Afternoon – Linda Cardillo (Harlequin Everlasting Love) leads to One Summer in Italy because of the Italian connection

  6. One Summer in Italy – Lucy Monroe (Harlequin Romance) leads to the anthology Summer in Savannah.

  7. Dynasties: Summer in Savannah - Barbara McCauley, Maureen Child, Sheri Whitefeather (Silhouette Desire) leads to Dream Chaser – Sherrilyn Kenyon with Sheri/Sherrilyn.

  8. Dream Chaser (Dream Hunter Novel) Sherrilyn Kenyon leads to Fool for Love with Dream Hunter/hero last name is Hunter.

  9. Fool for Love – Kayla Perrin leads to To Love a Stallion – Deborah Fletcher Mello

  10. To Love a Stallion – Deborah Fletcher Mello leads to Tryin’ to Sleep in the Bed You Made – Virginia DeBerry & Donna Grant

  11. Tryin’ to Sleep in the Bed You Made – Virginia DeBerry & Donna Grant leads to A Bravo Christmas Reunion – Christine Rimmer with same H name (Marcus) there was a two way connection with Reid last name of hero in one book and heroine in the other.

  12. A Bravo Christmas Reunion (Bravo Family Ties) – Christine Rimmer – Forever Mine (A Madaris Family Novel) Brenda Jackson

  13. Forever Mine (A Madaris Family Novel) Brenda Jackson leads to See How She Dies – Lisa Jackson

  14. See How She Dies ended my reading for the month…..

I've read 3 books this month

1.      After Hours – Rochelle Alers (Kimani Sepia)  Mar 08 (Read before the announcement of the challenge theme)

2.      The Playboy’s Proposition – Angie Daniels (Kimani Romance) Feb 08

3.      Black Rain – Vincent Alexandria (Kimani Sepia) Sept 07

and I am currently reading Three Wishes by Janice Sims. I am more than ready for the challege this month - New to You. I have more than I will have time to read. I will have fun reading as many new authors and lines and genres as I can. Last month I read 4 new authors so I narrowed the list some. Laughing

I see there are many fellow Sherrilyn Kenyon DH fans. Here is more Acheron until the times comes.
