I have a Maine Coon cat named Emma Jean. She's my writing muse, she reminds me when her food is low and plays havoc with anything left on the floor in my office. But most of all, she has stayed with me through all the writing hours involved in Heart of My Heart. Her favorite hangout is in front of the patio doors, doing her usual cat muttering at any wildlife that strays into her line of sight.
Because she's been such a good writing partner, she's one of the characters in my next book, Baby in Her Arms.

Maine Coons
I have never had one put those Maine Coons are gorgeous. All of my cats have been strays.
The birds near us actually sit by the patio doors to tease my two cats.
Now I have to wait for Baby in Her Arms to read about the famous Emma Jean.
