Need Your Thoughts!

I’m wondering what you think cause I’ve got this one scene in my
book that I have not yet made up my mind on how to handle.  Actually I
shouldn’t say ’scene’ but rather ‘moment’.  So here’s my question,
please share your thoughts!

If you were kissed, a light bare brush of the lips,
nothing more–would you know that person from their kiss(a full heated,
scorching, toe curling type) later on?

Think disguise here, like maybe even blindfolded.   Part of me says
yes you would instinctively recognize the other person and part of me
says, how?  If its just a bare brushing of lips, other than electric
shock and smell…could we truly identify the other person from a line up
if we were blindfolded AND the kiss was a 100 degrees hotter?

Let me know what you think!  Thanks!

Cole   Oh and PS - not telling you what I want so that it doesn’t sway your opinion. :-)

Wow .. .very intriguing question Cole ....

I'm by no means a kissing expert ... I think it really depends on the people and what lead up to that very "innocent" kiss ..... was there some body language, some sort of flirt, be it with eyes or words ..... something more than jus the "innocent" kiss    .......hmmm, but blindfolded?  .... so one of the kissers will know who the other is, one will not?

this is tough ..... for the blindfolded one it would have to be what he/she is aware of around them .... yes, the scent of the other person ... if words are spoken, the voice .... if movement is detected, some hint of the person's demeaner ..... if you must make it a convincing recognition, you could have one of the parties have a small scar on their lip that could be detected or maybe a very small taste of blood that later the blindfolded kisser would remember when she/he see's the kisser  ... hmm, interesting question!

I've read a book where two strangers meet at a masquerade party ....the woman is masked ....  they both end up in the boat house during a power failure and one thing leads to another .... neither had met before ... later the woman eludes the man and he not knowing who she is (and she was not invited to the party so other's didn't know her either) has a hard time finding her ...... but when he does, there's something about the woman that instantly tells him that she's the one

I think that was a B.J. Daniels Intrigue from some years ago ..... must go search that one out again .... it was rather good!  ... and rather hot!  LOL

I hope there are some "expert" kissers here who can give you some help!

It should be more than the kiss

The kiss should be the icing in that situation.  Recognition is also by the feel of their hands or their own unique smell that could make them stand out all on their own.  When blindfolded, all of your other senses kick into a higher gear and that is where you would feel the recognition the most.

Well, I don't know about

Well, I don't know about kissing experts, but I wouldn't recognize a person that way.

RE: NEED YOUR THOUGHTS

Is this MARINE DAY, or what?? An experience very similar to this happened in the USMC to me.  I DON'T know how she did it -- but she could tell which one of us three guys was which by "feel" (she was blindfolded).
