Enchanted Scribe

The Enchanted Scribe stands next to the Silver Unicorn, a small plain building that serves as a school for scribes, clerks and bards. Inside are three rooms, one holds a huge round table with softly cushioned chairs and numerous bookshelves crammed with every kind of creative writing manual in existence. Students sit around the table and share ideas and encouragement. When necessary, they also kick slackers in the butt, or crack a pretend whip over their heads.

The second room is simply a small room ringed with tables loaded down with food. Bowls of hearty bread, fresh fruit and sausage rolls crowd one table. On another sits a platter with a rainbow of fresh vegetables ringing a bowl of dip, a platter of mixed cheeses and a large steaming pot of soup. The third table holds a collection of canisters that are full of dried fruit, chocolate or yoghurt covered raisons, chocolate covered blueberries, mixed nuts. There is also a collection of cookie jars, each depicting a mythical creature, that are full of various types of cookies, brownies, fudge and bars. There is also beer, lots and lots of beer…..because there is a secret hose running from the draught lines in the Silver Unicorn next door. Waiters with the ability to morph into any human shape serve the scribes, always knowing what is needed and when.

The third room is very small and at first glance appears empty. In the back wall is a short velvet curtain that can be tied back with thick rope ties. Behind the curtain is an enchanted window made of stained glass. The picture is of a large book with runes around the edges. If the scribe chants the spell correctly, the book opens up and a feathered pen appears before it. When the scribe writes the scene upon the blank page, the image changes to what was described. This is useful for determining any missing elements in the scribes story.

The basement has assorted workout equipment for scribes to work out their frustrations. It should be noted that the waiters are very busy, should not be pulled from their regular duties to relieve the scribes frustrations except to give a massage or act as a sparing partner.

    Thanks, Melissa!

    Does it break things up?

So will we have to scroll down through every post when we have 500 posts or does it break it up into different pages once you get to a certain number of posts?

    breaking things up

I've noticed on other pages it automatically starts a page 2 well before that. I did learn that if you click on the '2 new posts' (for example) rather than the room name it takes you to the newest posts in that room.
