Well, I made it through my pitches Saturday! That's the good note.
How did I do? We'll know for sure once I finish prepping and send in the proposal to Miriam, the agent with the Irene Goodman Literary Agency. I'm hoping to get that done in the ten day time line I give myself. I am only sending to the agent right now since she asked for ten pages and I have those pretty much ready already to go. Wow- I might get an agent out of this!
I'm still working on edits for the first three chapters before they are shiny and polished good to send to Charles. I'm giving my self to the middle of April to get it sent out.
Does that sound reasonable? I think so. Four weeks should be quite acceptable especially if Margo tells him I'll be sending it right along soon. She took my author card back to New York to him possibly with the message that she offered to accept it and give it to him if I wanted her to. I will just send it directly to him when I have it all ready to go.
