Tire kicking

Heyla everybody.  I'm having troubles ajusting to the new site, but then, I'm almost as old as dirt and so can't be expected to take to newfangled technical stuff like a fish to water.  I hope you all have a higher frustration quotient than I do.

Settling in...

Hey Frenchie,

Glad to see you settling in! There is a bit of a learning curve when compared to the old site, but the hope is that this new platform will let you guys interact with one another in new ways and simplify the formatting for everyone.

We put a lot of thought into keeping the site dynamic, creating new ways to find the content on the site, and giving each member a way to have a unique voice while still contributing to the discussions that make the site so addictive!

p.s. I'm glad to see you are still sticking with Firefox as your browser. I know it's a bit of a change too, but in my experience people that try it seldom switch back.

Hey Scott - I didn't kick tires but thanks a bunch to all you techies putting out fires left, right and center

Have to agree with you that there's no need for a change after FirefoxSmile

Firefox

Me too, FF on the adjustment, esp. the first night when I had to switch to IE as a browser to get some things functional.  It is getting easier now that more options are here although the Challenge is still a challenge for me.  Staight HTML code is easier for me sometimes than the "easy" formats!

I just saw this post while visiting Sadhbh's profile and wanted to say, I love Firefox and cringe when I hit a site that requires IE.  Fortunately now I am back to Firefox here too.  Smile

I don't have much use for it

As I posted over on Dream Team... I already deleted one blog. Why do I want another???

I find it a pain in the ..... to use...

I saw your post, Sheri

*sigh* I hope it gets better, but I doubt that it will.  It really is a shame since I know Jayne et al.  have been working so hard.

Psst...

The cutsy purple doesn't help.

I find it hard to find what I'm looking for, nothing stands out.
