As may be obvious I didn't participate in March's challenge,
although I will actually manage to fit in a few new to me authors this
month. The reason I'm not particularly excited about it is that it's a
very difficult challenge for me - Harlequinwise, because there are very
few imprints I haven't yet tried and relatively few authors. There are
of course the new new authors, the ones that haven't been published
before, but there again I have to get the books to me in time to read
them, and that's where that idea falls down.
That double-oh position is round again so I decided I wanted to read a specific book, except that it hasn't got here yet, and I don't want to read nothing
between now and Tuesday while I wait for the next postal delivery, so
I've had to change the shoulder my rifle is on (as the French would
say) and then I couldn't find the book I was looking for (it took me
over an hour - I could have read it in the time it took me to find it
) but now I've finally pried it from its hiding place, I can get organised.
It strikes me that the postal service is seriously bugging my double-oh
spots this year, because last month or so when I was impatiently
awaiting a particular book for both the One book leads to another and
my first double-oh spot I ended up reorganising my reading because of a
non-arrival
I suppose that's called counting your books before they're read
and yes it's not like I don't have about a thousand other books waiting in my TBR
and yes what am I doing blethering on when I could be reading

But you blether so well,
But you blether so well, that we enjoy reading your blethering!

postal service
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's thought that it's taking a long time for books to reach us! And I am having the same problem with reading Harlequin's because I've read many of the authors before and there are certain lines that I'm just not interested in reading. I totally blew the Feb. challenge because I didn't understand it. You have company, my friend!

I wonder why FF is being so nice to me, could be she wants another box of books
or maybe the Easter eggs have put her in a good humour
I quite like the One Book Leads to Another challenge (as you might have noticed last month) as it forced me to read some books I might otherwise have ignored forever

Hi All...
Hey if anybody wants a box or two of books let me know, the only catch is...please don't send them back. I have filled one room and need to thin it out. I am open to sharing. I am switching to ebooks, only keeping the print books that I totally love (that should only be about 2000 or so)...Please let me know if you want any books and what series.

half years
BTW Hans says to keep FF away from him in future
