Time Wasters

Okay, 'fess up.  What are some of your biggest time wasters?  Sure, we've all got time that's solidly booked, but I'm talking about free time, small as it may be.

My biggest time wasters? I'm not much of a TV watcher, so I do okay there.  I do read a lot, but c'mon, that's research!  I spend a bunch of time online (although that's not really a waste -- hey, I learn a lot here!).

But my biggest time drain is, of all things, Webkinz! Tongue out  Go ahead and laugh, but I'll bet I'm not the only one who has their own account (I have to be able to mail my kiddo some cool stuff!!) or spends time on their kids' account!

Your turn! I'd love to hear how other people spend free time...and also how you super organized people manage to find time to write in a busy day!

Stop Thinking About it And DO IT ALREADY!!!

Just popped on!  Congrats on your win!!!!  You're definately on your way to chaning that prepublished thing!!!!

I'd have to say that RESEARCH is one of my biggest time wasters!  I tend to spend hours "looking into" something, and no time at all DOING it.  What good is information that is never put into use????

Reading, surfing, and shopping are also culprits!

Thanks, Cat!

Yeah, I can get bogged down in research. Oh...and looking for the perfect picture for my hero. That's fun, though. :-)

Remember that a little procrastination might just be your

brain's way of working out a problem, but it can do that while you read a book

timewasting is not something I do a lot of

however
I read a lot, and some people define that as a waste of time - I don't
agree with them, but that's their problem, not mine Smile

I get caught up on the internet.  Here, paperbackswap.com, and other sites (I found SecondLife yesterday and spent a couple hours on it...prolly won't do that again).  It's not time wasting bc I'm not doing something "productive" though.  It's time wasting bc I'm not reading. Wink

time wasters

My biggest one is solitaire--but my only New Year resolution was to substitute writing every time I have the urge to play solitaire. Course my dh might think that blogging or reading are time wasters, hmmmmmmmUndecidedWink
