Introducing: Spot the Difference!
Spot the Difference is all about finding the differences between two cover images, one of which has been slyly altered by our Art Team to test your keen (hopefully) powers of observation. This month our featured Spot the Difference covers are from our newly launched Love Inspired Historical Line....let the games begin!
About Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historicals: FAITH, HOPE & ENDURING LOVE...
Have you spent most of your life thinking you were born into the wrong era? More at home on a wagon train than in an SUV? Think life by candlelight is so much more romantic than those silly incandescent bulbs? Then Love Inspired Historical is here to take you back in time... to a place where we all feel more at home.
Your challenge this month is to look closely to see if you can spot the EIGHT differences between the two covers featured below!
Think you have them? Email your answers to me by Tuesday, April 29th with Spot The Difference in the subject line of your email. The winning community member will be chosen according to the date/time stamp and accuracy of the email entry and will be crowned She/He Who is Most Observant and will be permitted to carry that designation in their signature line until the next Spot the Difference game and winner is announced.
The Official Answers to the puzzle will be posted here on April 30th, 2008!
Have fun!

Can I just chime in and say that I'm simply thrilled that it's Linda's cover that's been chosen?

It must be my computer screen
(maybe because it is widescreen) but I see 9 differences.
Or may be the way the lighting in my room is.

Sorry for sending THREE emails Jayne.
Edited
AAAAAHHHHHH and another! I'm NOT sending another email (well at least not tonight) lest I be mistaken for a spammer.

Hopefully you receive it.
Lauren - I think I see the same subtle differences you do.
Thanks,

Got Books?
I only see five and it is
I only see five and it is driving me nuts knowing that there are eight!

ROFL ....
when Jayne first put this up, I found four and immediately emailed her .... then I read the blurb again, and she mentions there are EIGHT .... sigh
well, I found five .. the sixth, okay it's a difference but what the heck is it? ... so I'm calling it a blotch for now ... actually as blotches go, I see actually two blotches, so I guess I've found seven .... now where is the eighth?
there are other distortions, but are they differences? or just distortions? .... now as I know I've already blown this month's "Spot the Difference" , I'll just take my time and pop in occasionally to see if I see the covers differently next time

Sigh... another one...
To one with an obsessional personality trait finding YET ANOTHER difference when there is only supposed to be 8 is a distortion in The Way Things Are Supposed To Be.
I start asking myself...
Is it Me?
What is the purpose...
of Life?
The Universe ...?
and
EVERYTHING?
but then I find the answer... AND It was not my fault. It does look that way owing to the way the picture is aligned but some changes disappear when the picture is clicked on.
Whew!
Sorry Jayne a corrected email coming.

I did it too!!I found 8
I did it too!!
I found 8 differences. More actually but like some other people said they are just subtle. So I emailed what I thought were the changes that the art team made.
Boy, this was fun!
I always loved..........
these type of games when I was a kid! LOL Highlights magazine always had fun ones!
I found 8 or 9
And I thought I saw more, too, after struggling to get past five... I think one of the things that threw me was the difference in pixel content between the two covers. (I blew them up to 150% in IE, and you can see a real difference in the quality when you do that. The original cover has fewer pixels.) I actually like a few of the additions to the original cover, but I can see where they would be distracting... It's a beautiful cover either way!

Oops - I peeked!
Well, I would've said 8 but anyone who read my blog entry last week - I am a Wreader - knows that I only found 6 and then accidently looked on the last page of the Harlequin flyer and saw the last 2. (I was in Chapters.)
Okay, Anita mae - no more Harlequin flyers for you!

I'm going to try
in cover two the title is a different color, the woman has a flower tucked in her apron, there is a cat in the corner, and a bird flying. it doesn't have the flowers the man is bringing in cover one, or a tower or windmill in the distance. The man doesn't have a belt buckle like he does in cover two and there isn't a automobile or truck as in cover two.

I found them all!! Wow!! Usually I'm stuck with 1 left.
SHE WHO IS MOST OBSERVANT
Ok, I join in the fun
Hi,
I think that I spotted all 8 but I'm not sure. I love these type of games. It is like 'Finding Waldo' only better since it is based on one of Harlequin's book covers.
Ame ^_^
If first you don't succeed, destory all evidence that you had tried and start again.

Is it me? Where is the answers?
