*happy dance* Two ladies have critiqued my short story. The comments they made and things they pointed out have been very helpful to me. I'm excited about applying some of their comments to my work - i can see where what they've suggested will only serve to improve my writing.
I'm keeping to short stuff as of now since I've discovered I'm a bit weak on expansion. I think though, with what feedback I'm getting, I may be able to grow in this area. This is my next focus.

Did you plan on submitting your story? Just curious as to what avenues are open for short stories.

i hadn't really planned on submitting since it was too short to qualify for anything on the site. it was one of those things that just flowed out and had to get done before my brain rebelled.
