Playing in the Writer Challenge forum has gotten my creative juices flowing. I've taken the backbone of the current challenge and expanded it to approximately 6K words. I think it's pretty good and if some people would like to show me otherwise - I will gladly take their advice.
Especially since I don't believe I have enough to expand the story beyond what I've written. Problem: no such thing as a, hmmm, shall we say, Blaze Brief. Therefore, before I venture into the scary world of attempting any sort of submission, I do believe I will need to Spice up this little story.
I will be inquiring about some of the forums for any volunteers who may be able to help this Spice rookie. My thought right now is, start small, build on it, and still aim high.
