Well since tomorrow is the "official" start date of our second buddy read, I figured I'd get the blog entry posted so we can start commenting right away. I cheated. I finished my book I was listening to this afternoon so I started in on this one now. I loaded it to my MP3 player last week. :-) Interesting first line... "A single line of blood trickles down..." I'm a couple hours into
I'm a couple hours into part 1 now. Quite interesting how it's all happening. SOmehow though Im issed the transition from present day to the past and I was quite confused when we changed time periods until I realized what had happened. Not sure if it's becasue the transition wasn't clearly delineated or if it's becasue I was at work so I know I miss bits and pieces here and there while I'm working.
I am definitely interested in finding out why Alais' father is so concerned about the dead body in the river. There's an obvious connection threre so I look forward to seeing where that will go.

Well ididnt get to listen to any more of it over the weekend. i ws out and about most of the weekend and when i was home i was listening to an MP3 audio book on my stereoat home. So back to Labyrinth today.

I started reading but only got through the Author's note and the Prologue. I read it slowly as there is a lot of info to take in. I worked till 10:00PM tonight at the rec so didn't get anymore read this evening and now I'd better hit the sack so I can get up in the morning.

Hmmm... Is anyone else
Hmmm... Is anyone else getting anywhere with this one?
It's been bad timing with me. The library copy I checked out originally was from my parents library system (I was visiting for a week)... which means I had to return it when I went back to my place. I've yet to re-check it out. ::sigh:: Though I should be able to finally start it after I read 2 more books (I have to mail them w/i a certain time-frame).
So, have you all had better luck/timing than me and just haven't been posting? Or is everyone having scheduling conflicts? Or both?

I think it's slow going for everyone right now. I started it, but I'm on the road this week and haven't had much time to listen to my audio of it. So I've not gotten much farther than I was a week ago.

I intended to d more today but I just got back to the office after being gone a few days so I've got a lot of catch up to do and haven't pulled out the MP3 Playrr yet.
