Blog Update

Dear Readers and Friends,

I had a pleasant surprise this past week when my latest hardback, PREGNANT NURSE, NEW-FOUND FAMILY arrived on one day and the Italian version of my second book, Her L.A. Knight, arrived the next.  It always feels like Christmas when my copies arrive!  So far my books have been translated into French, Swedish, Finnish, Afrikaanse, and now Italian.  Never did I dream of having a book published let alone distributed around the world. Let that be a lesson to you that nothing is impossible. I still can’t believe any of this has happened to me, so pardon me while I pinch myself!

I want to remind everyone that this is the month to make bids for the Diabetes Research Auction at the Brenda Novak website:  http://www.brendanovak.com   Be sure to stop by and make a bid on the Love is the Best Medicine, Medical Romance Authors basket. We are located under Gift Baskets, second page, at the bottom. Your money will go for a good cause and you may be the winner of our fantastic basket choc full o books and goodies and sealed with love. (fifteen books from MedRo authors!)

And now for a status report for my work in progress, Invasion of the Medics!  (I have started choosing fun and even silly names for my books because I know they will be changed if/when they get published)  Imagine Wentworth Miller from Prison Break as the dark and tortured hero.  I have now finished the first seven chapters and 137 pages, so I’m over halfway through the first draft.  YAY!  Hopefully by next month I will have completed the first draft and will be working on editing and revising.  I’ll keep you posted.Innocent

Until then, have a great month!  And Happy Mother's Day, too.

Lynne

How exciting for you Lynne!

How exciting for you Lynne! I can't wait to read more of your books.

Nancy

Thanks!

Hi Nancy!

Thanks for reading my mini blog.  I post what I put up on my website here (when I remember).  But I hope you'll visit my website from time to time, too.

I have now received my French copy (I am paired with Maggie Kingsley!!!!1) for Single Dad, Nurse Bride.  They called it:  Un chirurgien a apprivoiser.  (My high school French thinks that means:  A Surgeon to Tame - Don't you love it?)

Anyway, thanks for reading my books.  I'm so glad that you want to read more!

My very best wishes,

LynneLaughing
