Hello everyone!!!!
Well it is that time again. I have a bunch of books that I need to get rid of.
If any one wants books, I will send them for the price of postage.
Contact me and let me know if you are interested. I will send you a list.

Got Books?

hey Terri
I'd be interested in getting your book list. Always looking for more books, LOL. Can you send the list to s_a_downton@yahoo.ca

I'd normally jump on this
I'd normally jump on this offer....... but my willpower is being tested today. I'm the one who should be offering books. I have over 300 in my TBR pile. However, I really do want to read them before I part with them. My library gets my unwanteds for their 'Friends of the Library' book sale.

OMG, Terri....
Temptation lurking in the shadows - LOL. Your offer of free books (with postage) is killing me! But I'm like Kristen, I have so many already in my TBR pile. And I sort of made this pact with Vikki (v1978lp) that I'd read only the books I've previously collected in my TBR pile for the month of June. Gosh-darn, too bad I'm not interested. Yep, that sure is too bad....
Psst, but just to be curious - what ones DO you have? I could collect them for July maybe.... <GG>

Terri - I do know that! I was teasing you!
What books do you have available? You already have my email (or is that me being too greedy
)?

Sadhbh - I know you were teasing
But you would be suprised how many people think I am a guy.
Adrian is on all of my blogs and women will write trying to flirt. I then have to set them straight. That is not my pic, that is my boyfriend (in my dreams) Adrian. then I send them the link to his website www.adrianpaul.net
Anyway, check your email. I sent you the list. You'e not greedy.....just entheusiastic (or how ever you spell it).

Got Books?

All the books are spoken for.
I will try to ship them all out next Saturday.

Terri....
LOL about how many women think you're a guy. I did the reverse with Hockeyjock. I thought he was a woman who was using a guy's pic as his avatar and trying to be cute with the name. I had to apologize to him. Isn't that too funny! I always have been a airhead <GG>
For the most part, I only know two guys who use eharlequin, though there may be more I just haven't blogged with.

Maybe....
Maybe they just see the pic of a hot guy and think...wow! I know I do everytime I see Adrian's pic or see him in person. I can never just talk to him without stammering.
and maybe it is the name....it is one of those names that can be used by male or female. But guys usually spell it Terry.
Girls get creative and spell Teri or Terrie. one friend of mine spells her name Tere.
Some people who say theyre my friend call me things like : Terri-ble, Terri-dactyl, Terri-towel or just T
My friend Tom, calles me Terri-ble.....I call him Tom-ass

Amanda - there are several guys on here
Marty aka Hockeyjock, VincePlato, Trybble aka Wayne (though he hasn't been around much lately) and some of the guys from the Luna forums that I haven't chatted to in so long I've forgotten what their names are
I don't think anyone gets really upset when you're not sure, you'd be surprised the number of letters I get to Mr Sadhbh M... because they don't know what kind of first name that it
at work all my colleagues get called by their first names, and I get Mme M... - it makes me laugh

You should just spell your
You should just spell your name in English not in Irish. Then people would know how to pronounce it. Sive, like Five.

Nicknames....
Terri, I know what you mean about nicknames. My maiden name was Rice. You can imagine the possibilities there: Rice-a-Roni, 'How's your Uncle Ben?', Rice-bowl.... etc. I heard a little of it all back in school!
But, especially, LOL about Tom-ass! My DFIL's name is Thomas. I wouldn't dare call him that distortion to his face, much as I might want to, but I know I'll be thinking it from now on!
No, seriously, my DFIL is an okay guy, but he does have his moments....
Sadhbh, I've been curious for some time now. What does the hbh in your name stand for... or it that the actual spelling of your name? See, I'm like those people you get letters mis-addressed from - LOL
Oh, and I've blogged with Vince and HockeyJock. But I haven't heard of the other guy you were talking about. I only joined eharlequin last month so, doubtless, there's some I haven't met yet. But I'm sure as much as I'm linked up on here, I'll get around to them....

Tom-ass
I got it from a movie....I think it had David Duchovny in it. Cant remember the name of it.
I also call Tom, Tom-Tom Club, Tommy Tune, Thomas Dolby......and when he is ignoring me, I call him "tommy can you hear me?" Some times I just call him Roger.
