I'm Not Going to Make It

This is my first full day back of work since my dd has been sick. I'm not going to make it. It's 1:20 and I should be going home at 1:30, but I have to stay until 4:30 today. I knew this day was coming, but I'm ready to go home now. I haven't worked a full day since early March. YellCrySealedFrown

Why can't I work part time forever and get full time pay? Tongue out

I found this a few days

I found this a few days late.  I agree with your sentiments...it seems like all I do is work.  I hate those days that drag on forever.

Hi Paisely! I'm almost not

Hi Paisely! I'm almost not quite but almost back in the swing of things. My dd had appts all this week so next week I'll be whining again. Embarassed

Still can't figure out how to make to work part time for full time pay. With the price of gas it would be very helpful.

I hear ya!

I'd love to work part time for full time pay .... but there's no one else to do my work!  ... so I have no choice ... and as it is, I'm doing the work of more than one!  LOL

well, if you're back to work full time that means dd is pretty much back to herself again ... which is a good thing ....

hang in there ... you'll get back into the swing of things again

nice to have you back posting!

I feel your

PAIN! Sorry I didn't see this sooner. My pain is coming. I start back to school on Friday (15th) and then the kids come back on the 25th. I sure will miss working 22 to 24 hours a week. I work a summer camp and just go on field trips to supervise the kids. Really hard work and all but someone has to sacrifice and do it. Just kidding I love it and wish my summers were longer. I have a blast going on the field trips.

Aurelene - I definintely

Aurelene - I definintely need the full time pay. After experiencing part time work for full pay, it was hard going back working 40 hrs a week. If only I could do it always. I have some time I have to take before the end of the year and nowhere to go so I am thinking of taking some Fridays off or I could work some half days. Some thing to think about.
