BREAK OUT THE CHAMPAGNE...

porcupine.jpg

The pineapple/porcupine has official morphed into a fluffy kitten and Book # 53 -- officially now known as Secret Baby, Surprise Parents -- will be published next spring.  It will be a long time before I forget the pain, but it's definitely time to break out the strawberries and cream, champagne and chocolate and sing...

I'll look forward to next spring to being able to read the book

Hey Liz congrats on getting another one under your belt....now I shall look to get it into my tbr. I bet I get through your books faster than you do.....so much easier to read than try to write. Kiss

Thanks!

Thanks guys.  I'm definitely a fully paid member of the Struggling Writers Club -- what has it been with this year?  I've been hearing problems everywhere.

I've learned a big lesson this last six months.  The internet is the enemy of output.  That the flying-into-the-mist method of writing is okay when you have a clear idea of the final destination.  That I need to put work before play.  And to write what drives me.

Congrats!!!

Liz, winging you some cyber-champagne. Huge congrats!!! Some of those things you learned this year, are the same things I had to learn especially about curbing the internet time. *G* Can't wait to read your book.

We readers are doing a happy dance in Colorado too! Smile  Woohoo, something to look forward to!

The internet is a great productivity killer for reading and reviewing too.  Can be inspiration but I am going to have to set more limits to accomplish my goals too.

Congratulations Liz

Having been 'on the outskirts' of your struggle with the pineapple/porcupine book. Liz, I know how you've fought with it. So I am doubly thrilled to know it's finished and accepted  and I'm cheering and smiling over on this side of the country and waving to you on  the Western side.

The prospect of a new Liz Fielding book to read is always somethign worth celebrating.

And yes, what is it about this year - there seems to be an  inordinately large number of porcupines/pineapples (porcunapples? Wink) around.

Makes you wonder if it's something in the planets . . .Undecided In which case I just hope they've moved on now.

Congratulations again - and enjoy the champagne!

Thank you!

Thanks everyone for being such wonderfully supportive friends.  I'm now shutting myself back in the writing cave since I have two more books to deliver before the end of the year, plus a family wedding.

So far, the writing is going well.  Let us indeed hope, Kate, that whatever was in the planets has finally moved off into deepest space, never to be seen or heard of again!
