2007 Book Totals

Does anyone have the totals of the past years?  How does this years seems so far?

but there were ONLY three hundred or so Challengers

We're doing okay if only people would get on with reading and blogging

in 2006 and 2007, the number of bloggers was limited and you had to sign up by a certain date in January. This year, people can join whenever they learn about it or decide that they have time for it; they can participate by mail and so on.

The challenge started out seeing if a handful of readers could each read 100 books a year. Jayne said that there are 3000 community members. I don't think that everyone is "reviewing" their reads. If all 3000 members "review" their reads, then we each only need to read 33 books. Of course, some members won't have time to read that many but so many others of us will. The thing to do, as Sadhbh said, is to read and review!
