I always thought it was difficult to keep up on my reading and go classes. My BFF is alway amaze as to how I do that. I also didn't want to be the type of person where the most exciting thing in their life is a good book......so lets add to the mix: I thought it was difficult to read romances, have an active social life, and study and maintain good grades in school. Boy, was I wrong.
I will be the first to admit that I was young and naive, never realizing the true hardship of working. I am currently, only for the summer, working with facilities at my college and even though at times the work isn't that bad, the idea of having to get up at 6:30am and going to work at 7:30 and not seeing my room until 3:30-4pm is still chilling. I fantasize about the days when I used to roll over at 10am or 11am to get to class at 11:30. I know most of you working people are probably laughing at me, but I'm sure you remember a time when your biggest problem was your hair or what jeans to wear. I really have to give props to single mothers who deal with children, work, go to school, and still find time for a social life. My parents were always drilling in my head that life isnt easy, but it doesnt sink in until you experience it. ( I would never tell them that though
)
Well so now you know my dilema. I work and go to school at night. I am also trying to keep up with my social life, while trying to sleep, do homework, study, exerise, read for pleasure, keep up with the gossip, listen to music, and of course....watch TV. Lets not forget... keeping up with this blog
...
I know I'm not the only one with a hectic life, how do you find time to read between cooking and playing tug-a-war with the kids?
Whereva de winds blows de leaves drop....the story of my life...
