I love my eHarlequin friends and community!

Just thought I'd blog exactly what I'm thinking instead of keeping it to myself.  Of all the sites I've been on, this one is at the top of my list (I'm sure it's obvious, as often as I'm on here)!  It has the right books, fun blogs, informative forums, personalized reviews, well-known and new authors, a great support team, and is very well put together.... Oh, and it has the right books, the right books, and the right books....

Did I mention it has the right books? <GG>

Yet what I like the most are all the fellow-bookworms and friends I've made in the few months I've been here.  You guys are the absolute best!  You're always there with good advice, laughs, and encouragement.  Sometimes it's easy to take others for granted, and I don't want to do that.  So, thanks fellow eHarlequin-ites! Smile

I love coming to visit here. The staff here are great, everything about this place is great. It's great to come to a place where you have something in common with others. others just don't understand the NEED for more books when there are still 750+ sitting on a shelf that I haven't read or the fact that I may need another bookshelf, but I can come here and talk to people who understand.

Hey I just noticed

an addition to my signature line. Wow a big    to all community members

Congrats, Christa

You definitely deserve it with all your reading!  And thanks bunches for blogging with me, too!

Aren't you glad we don't really look like this!  LOL! Laughing

I've been addicted to this

I've been addicted to this site since I found it years ago. It has evolved since then and I am still coming back, can't stay away. Embarassed

Love this site and it's diversity of readers. I have read books I wouldn't have from reading other's blogs.

Star....

The fact that you found it a long time ago and yet you're still here on eHarl is testimony in itself.  I mean, how many other sites have you joined or at least checked out in the past couple of years?  I know I've checked out quite a few and none of them I like as well as eHarlequin.  I like the diversity, too.  Everyone has different tastes, yet we all love to READ.  And have you noticed how, for the most part, everybody is respectful with each other?  Man, I tell you, some of the sites I've been on get really mean.  I don't like mean people.  LOL

Anyway, I agree about the reviews being useful to me.  I've read quite a few that I wouldn't have even tried if I hadn't read an interesting review to lure me.  Wink

Fake Frenchie....

Didn't you get member of the month not too long ago, too?  Or am I screwed on my thinking?  Never mind... don't answer that! Laughing

Fun site

Amanda--We like having you around also. The thing I like best about eharl. is that I can meet people of all ages who read the same books and who like to discuss them as much as me. And who understand that you can never have enough books!

I have also been coming here for probably about six years and feel that I have made friends here that I would love to meet in person. You are right--on some of the other romance sites poster can be very nasty and judgmental. I don't post on any of those sites anymore and visit them infrequently. I visit this site several times a day!

Christa--congrats! on being July member of the month.

LOL, I visit several times a day, too!

I take a break from my writing every little bit and check to see the recent activity here.  It's quite addictive!  And I just love seeing repeat names that I now consider friends!  As you can see from my blog I'm still a relative newbie, but I feel right at home!  Thanks for being one of those who make me feel welcome, MarySmile

you put me to the blush.Embarassed

There is an incredible energy around this place (if only it were not quite so difficult catching up with messages). I enjoy reading and blogging with both of you as well as numerous others here.

Nancy

This is a great

This is a great and comfortable place to come visit and talk books with others who love them as much as you do. I was new to the challenge last year and everyone made me feel so welcome. Glad you're her too Amanda and this was a great blog! I'm glad I chanced upon it.

Nancy....

You're welcome!  And I had to laugh when I read that part about if only it wasn't so hard to keep up on the messages.  It keeps me on my toes, too!  But I love, love, love it!  Laughing

Thanks, Deb!

When I first checked out eHarlequin I had no idea I'd love it so much.  But, it seems just downright heavenly to blog with people who love books as much as I do.  Face to face, I don't have many people I can talk to about books, because they think reading is.... are you ready for this?  They think it's BORING!  Poor things.  The exception is my DH, who loves to read too.  And my grandpa who, although not educated, learned to read and write as well as most college graduates.  There is one new reader I know - my DD.  She's six and she's often nose-deep already in Nancy Drews and Pony Pal chapter books. Wink

This place is my virtual home away from home!  Glad you stopped by my blog, Deb!  Thanks again.
