A Starting tidbit... Movie Dragons
Favorite Movie Dragons:
1. Draco from the DragonHeart movie... voiced by Sean Connery... yum!! He was one of the first best computer generate dragons on the big screen.. came to life.. and fit the myth of dragons so much...
2. Temeraire from the Naomi Novik series... he's a wonderful black Chinese dragon.. quirky, loves to learn, fight.. and do all he can.. and has a wonderful connection to his human rider.. and that Peter Jackson has bought the film rights.. and all he's done for the LOTR series.. can't wait to see this on the big screen..
3. Eragon and the others from Christopher Paolini... I'm still on the fence with the movie.. but I adore all the books and anxiously waiting for the third one..
4. Falkor the Luck Dragon from Never Ending story... I love him more in the first one than the sequels... he has that cute puppy like appeal to him...
5. The lady dragon in Shrek... what's her name...
What's your favorite movie dragons??

Dragons!!
I LOVE dragons! And I would love to see more books with dragons. Some dragons in the Nocturne or Luna books would be awesome!
As far as movies. I adored Dragonheart that is one I have watched many times and always cry at the end so beautiful.
I felt like the movie Eragon was so off from the book(which I adored). The movie had poor acting and just was way off!
I haven't read alot of books with dragons but among some ofcourse is Eragon, I havent read the 2nd in it just because I saw tons of poor reviews and was afraid it would ruin Eragon for me I still may get it someday just out of curiousity.
I also read Song in the Silence by Elizabeth Kerner which was amazing! I don't have the sequels to it but would love to track them down someday.
On Fire's Wings by Christie Golden has a dragon in it as does her sequel In Stone's Clasp a wonderful fantasy that I just adored(sadly the third is only in ebooks and I don't have one)
But yeah I just adore dragons anything to do with them that is done well and doesn't make them into something evil.
People who look down on others are the real freaks of this world.
Re: Dragons
Some dragon books I've read and enjoyed or will soon be reading...
I second:
Mercedes Lackey's dragons in her Joust series
Anne MacCaffrey's dragons in her Pern series
Plus:
Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles
Allyson James's Dragon books
Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey books (and presumably her Silver Dragon books though I haven't tried the one that is out yet)
I haven't read them yet but will soon be trying Marjorie B. Kellogg's Dragon Quartet.
The great gift is the passion for reading. It is cheap [Hah! It most certainly is not!], it consoles, it distracts, it excites. It gives knowledge of the world and experience of a wide kind. It is moral illumination. ~ Elizabeth Hardwick
Love Dragons
Eragon and Eldest were both awesome and can't wait till the third one comes out in Sept. Angela Knight has a couple of books in her mageverse series with Dragons they're excellent. Tery Goodkind's books have dragons in them, also Robert Jordan. I've read Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey except for the last one that came out recently. Read the Naomi Novik books too and loved the descriptions of the dragons in them. Loved the Dragons in Anne McCaffery's. Dragons must be super intelligent and larger than life, and love all things shiney
