Well, two down and... seven to go... book reviews that is. And I'm halfway through my latest book ~ again part of a series that I've been following and it's even a Harlequin imprint....
I'm going to be finishing Kasey Michaels' Beckets of Romney Marsh over the next few days ~ I'm on the third last with Fanny's story ~ The Reckless Beauty.
And of course, once I got started it was like "DUH... why the HEY didn't I read these books sooner?" I've loved the series right from the beginning. Of course Kasey Michaels has been a favourite, and auto-buy, author for a number of years now.
Anyway, as to the delay in writing up the balance of my outstanding (and I don't mean quality-wise... just the fact that I'm so far behind!) reviews? I don't know if this a backlash from the migraine of last week or I'm just enjoying the flu, but sitting for any length of time behind the computer just isn't working for me right now. I was going to head out to the gym after I dropped my daughter off at work this morning, but I'm just not feelin' it, ya know? *sigh*
Maybe a good long nap will help ~ but I will be back later today to get at least another couple of reviews done. And if I'm lucky it'll be before I finish Fanny's story, no? LOL
Well, one can hope anyways!

(((Hugs))) ....
Migraine after effects can be the pits .... you have my utter sympathies, Kathy .... thankfully, I have had a cycle of migraines in quite awhile but I do know how you feel .... and yes, doing anything on the computer for any length of time can really be distressing
well, rest and we'll be here when you're ready to add them
I have a confession ... I've never read a Kasey Michael's book .... I've been eyeballing this series ... I think there's a bundle in the eBoutique for the first three (the ones pubbed in 2006) .... I see there are four more pubbed in 2007 .... I wonder if they plan to do another ebundle for the last four? ... must go ask Lorie :)

Computers and migraines
I have trouble sitting at the computer for any length of time after getting a bad headache or migraine. Hope your residual effects fade soon!

Icky migraines....
Katherine, this is the first time that I've ever really had after effects from a migraine. Usually if it's bad enough to go for treatment in the past I've gone to Emergency and gotten a shot of DHE ~ and let me tell you, once the headache's gone, it's GONE! This time I fixed it in two separate parts.... and went to the medi-clinic instead. Hmmm, not sure which way I'll go the next time I have one of the really bad ones... but, thank heavens!, they're the much rarer migraines.
Wow and never read anything by Kasey Michaels?
LoL....
She's written a truck load of Harlequin and Silhouettes ~ although they're quite a bit older. She also wrote a number of Regency Historical category romances for Avon that were later re-published by Harlequin. And then she wrote a few other Historical catgories for Signet Regency Romances; these, however, were from the man's POV.
I got started with KM via here novels ~ not sure whether it was the contemporaries or the historicals that got me hooked, but either way, I now own them all. I know that some of her older historical novels have been re-released by eHarlequin lately, but I'm fortunate enough to have the older ones.
) And my apologies for going on and on... sheesh!
But either way, she's definitely one of my favourite authors!
(Can't you tell?
Debbie, Thank you! If I keep my time limited it seems to be a little more helpful... but then I have a bad habit of getting caught up ~ and just plain getting caught.
