To whom it concerns
I haven't blogged any books this week and probably won't blog anything until about the 23rd, because I was suffering from burnout, because I had a lot to do preparing the week away with the in-laws and I decided I didn't need to be SuperSadhbh this week
For those of you wanting to read reviews there are about 10,000 book reviews to catch up on (and that's allowing for a LOT of "just titles" - apologies if I've offended anybody)
Or you could always read a book and blog a review yourself
Here's the list of the books to which you can look forward in a couple of weeks
The Last Seduction by Elda Minger
The Cupid Conspiracy by Ruth Jean Dale
Constant Craving by Tori Carrington
Love Bites - Margaret St. George
Montana - Debbie Macomber
The Fall of Maggie Brown - Anne Stuart
Landry's Law - Kelsey Roberts
Redhawk's heart - Aimee Thurlo
Jackson's Woman - Judi Lind
Fortune's Fool by Mercedes Lackey
By the Book by Nancy Warren
Gotta Have It by Lori Wilde
You Sexy Thing by Tori Carrington
Sheik Seduction by Dana Marton
Extreme Measures - Brenda Harlen
Romancing the Renegade - Ingrid Weaver
Spencer's Secret - Laura Gordon
Summer Mahogany - Janet Dailey
Valley of the Vapors - Janet Dailey
Splendid - Julia Quinn
Dancing At Midnight - Julia Quinn
Minx - Julia Quinn
Everything And The Moon - Julia Quinn
To Save His Baby - Judi Lind
Secret Admirer by Amanda Stevens
Mysterious Millionaire by Cassie Miles
Of course by then I'll have another fifty or sixty to write up too (so DonnaH will be helping me with my backlog given that she already has some experience with big backlogs
)
Hope you're all reading up a storm this July

Happy reading.

Glad...
Hi Sadhbh,
Glad that you are giving yourself a break. You deserve it. I'm reading as much as possible considering it is to hot here to do anything else & there is much I should be doing. Just know that I, for one, will miss your reviews.
Enjoy your holiday.
Take care, happy reading,

This has been a slow reading week with all I've had to do to
prepare stuff for the week away, but now the car is loaded up, so just have to go to bed, get up, get everyone showered, dressed and in the car, throw out the rubbish, make sure the cats aren't locked in the house or car and go!
catch y'all in about ten days' time

If you need a break...
...by all means, take it, Sadhbh! You're still an inspiration to the rest of us. Especially us slower readers - LOL! Enjoy your break from reviewing!

Hi all - greetings from the sunny Riviera
I found a cyber café that opens at 7 a.m. (about the only time I have a free moment) but DH disconnected the wifi antenna so I'm not using his machine yet. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to download my blog files from my email and get some of my reviews typed up and I might even manage to post one or two if I manage that
Holidays are much as I expected they'd be, I've managed to read about 13 books since I arrived on Friday - less than I expected but I'm improving and have hopes to read at least twenty more by Saturday evening - the more inlaws are around the more I read, because the onus of conversation is less the more people there are - they're used to seeing me with a book in my hand
Okay better get back so I can chauffeur the boys and DH to the beach, do shopping for lunch, make lunch, return to chauffeur the boys from the beach and generally have the usual "quiet" morning (
) that DH encourages me to have given that I don't like the beach - for those of you not in the know the "beach" is a load of big stones and gravel, not this Irishwoman's definition of a beach - I grew up with the finest of lovely white sand, stones just don't cut it!

Sadhbh, Have a Wonderful Time
Sounds like a wonderful vacation. Enjoy! (I, too, like white fine sand beach.)

Life's a b....
ha, you thought I as going to say b..each, didn't you?
Life is a book , and I hope you enjoy many, many of them on your vacation.
I emailed you, but skip it until you're all home and 'relaxed' (which we all know is easy as pie with a couple boys running around.)
And I will pop in more often and even get a blog up to speed. I promise.

Hey Elaine, hey Orchid
Thanks for the good wishes for my vacation, I WILL email you when I get home Elaine, if only because I'm doing this from a cyber cafe and with the Mac that loses battery power at a rate of knots. Add to that the fact that my computer at home and at work have Azerty keyboards but that the Mac has a Qwerty and you might understand the typos I keep making LOL
DH brought his laptop but I can't get it to work in the cyber cafe at all at all! - major frustration
He and the boys are still asleep in bed while I come down to the cafe for tea and cyber chat and then I go back up, feed them, get them P20d and deliver them to the beach before I come back to the cyber cafe
(Of course that plan was spoiled by the lack of battery that shut me down after "P20"
)

Not sure...
Sadhbh, not sure that sounds like a vacation but it is what vacations are usually like for "Mom". I love the beach, even rocky ones as they are interesting and there is more to explore than just a stretch of sand. Both northern California & Oregon have stretches of sand but there is usually rocky areas, cliffs, tide pools etc. It is also usually cool enough I don't want to be sun bathing! The part of northern California where I am has a lot of dangerous currents & rip tides so it is best to stay out of the water. Southern California is where you see all the pictures of white sandy beaches with lots of people sunning & playing in the water. When I go to the beach I usually just walk along, or sit & enjoy the scenery, the smell and the soothing influence of the waves. I could sure use that today!!
Hope the rest of the time goes well & you get some rest and relaxation.
Take care, happy reading,
