What, I ask, are they doing to my trails?
I think I shall call the mayor ….

Don't it always see to go
Don't it always see to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. Pave paradise and put up a parking lot!

Yuck!
I will never understand why some people think that EVERYTHING has to be "developed." *sigh* Definitely call the mayor and complain.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Oh Loreth ....
And judging from those posts this is going to be one big ugly fence too! .... are they keeping something in or out? .... sure hope you get some very good answers out of the mayor!
argh ... much as I love that song ... I can tell it's going to be playing in my head for the rest of the day! LOL

Awful fence!
It looks like they are putting a fence right through a road. Are they fencing off the railway tracks? Yes song will be spinning in my head as I weed the garden.

Song in my brain
Sorry about the tune :) It's stuck in my brain, too!! Argggh
Apparently the fence along the dike is for my own safety. You know, to keep me and others from getting run over by a freight train. All Canadian National Rail's excellent idea. Wonder how I managed without their help for the last 15 years ....

Well of course it's for your own safety ....
how did you manage with out CNR's intervention?
hmmm .... something musta happened somewhere to make CNR go to this huge expense ... either they have a problem with suicides or people putting stuff on the tracks
we had a problem just north of us with kids purposely leaving stuff on the tracks ..... they'd wait in the brush until the train passed by and have a great laugh at the mangled item ..... wasn't funny when the train derailed and the kids ended up charged with malicious behaviour
it's always the acts of the few ...... sigh
(and that song is still buzzing around my brain!)
