I have been reading the blog site Snippetathon and it's free book Friday and I don't need any more books but my interest has been aroused. Do I or don't I buy more books to be added to TBR pile? I haven't even received my last order yet. What's a girl supposed to do?

Jodie
I will read your book if Harequin buys it. I still haven't come to a decision yet but I have a couple more hours. I love reading all the blogs but it does make you want to buy some more books.

It's a deal, Jodie...
Reading is how I relax, and writing is how I get all hyped up, then exhausted...and I'm absolutely loving it! In fact I can't keep from writing. It's who I am. You probably know exactly what I mean, right?
Your ms sounds very promising...one of those can't-put-it-down-until-I-find-out-how-it-ends books!

Kaelee, you're...
...bad in a very good way - the way every proper bookworm should be! That's what eHarlequin is all about.

I am sort of looking forward
I am sort of looking forward and dreading August 1st so I can buy more books! I never looked forward to the first of a month quite so much til I started blogging books. I like Free Book Fridays but I have had some of the books recently. I am going to try hard this month to cut back until I can read more and get my shelves organized---the organization seems to be the key to buying more. Right now I my incoming books have taken over for the past month or so and now I can't even see what I have.

I have read one book out of them and it got me reading again so I may be looking in on August 1st.

If Books were Food-then I am a ...
If Books were food, then I am a ... (you name it).
I have several piles of books: Read-logged, TBL (read, not logged, need to read again just to be sure), TBR, Already Ordered, TBO (to be ordered, this list is getting longer & longer).
I am a very greedy person
, I need TIME.
I cannot look at the Snippetathon anymore, I got itchy fingers, I so wanted to click the 'buy now' button.
Yes, I am whining again.

No!
You must come by snippetathon! LOL
If it makes you feel any better, many of the snips are things you can't buy, not for a while anyway. ;)
And if you're writing, post your own snip!
Come snip with us -- don't be afraid! *G*

Wild Horses can't ...
Wild horses can't drag me away from snippetathon.
To quote some blogger in another site who told others off when they were whining: 'have some cheese to go with your w(h)ine'
So, I am going to continue reading snippetathon & have some cheese, I shall have some real wine instead.

I do come by regularly
I really love the site as it gives insight into the problems writers have. I don't write and have no ambitions to try but I can't say how much I admire people who do and the effort they put into it. I even second guess what I put into my blog posts . Three cheers go out to all authors and all aspiring ones as well . Keep it up we readers need you.

Kaelee, Totally agree with you
I totally agree with you, Kaelee, I couldn't have said it any better. I admire the talent of a writer, to create & tell a story, & keep readers 'hook' to the story. Just by reading the snippets, you can tell how much thinking, time, sweat, research they put in, not even talking about re-writing to perfect a whole story.
Me, as a reader, I am enjoying the writers' creations.

Kaelee, Regarding second guessing ...
Kaelee, (sorry, I didn't keep notes when I was in the blog page), you mentioned second guessing your blog posts ...
Like or Dislike is a very subjective matter, depending the age, experience, present situation of the reader when reading that story. As long as the blog was truthful & constructive crititism, not use it for de-meaning, insulting or bashing, I believe that should be acceptable. But thank you for bring up this point, I'll keep that in mind.
I have some pet peeves, so if a story touches on one of those subjects without resolution or justification of it, then that would greatly dampened my interests in that story. It is impossible for me to like/love every single book created my favourite author.
