Yay! I always look forward to the pajama party. Thanks for throwing it again this year.

I picked up the PJ Party prizes today and all I can say is that they're VERY timely

The Superromance authors invite you to join us for a casual, fun get-together.

Who: You and anyone who likes to read.

What: Chocolate, Prizes, conversation, tiaras*

Where: San Fran Mariott, Pacific A

When: Wednesday, July 30th, following the Literacy Signing 7:30-9:00 pm

*The Super thread here at eHarlequin likes to joke about tiaras.
They're optional BUT we will have them available for anyone who wants
one at the party!

Last year I didn't hear about the PJ party until the next day. Boo hoo.

This year I knew enough to ask early and often until someone let the location slip.

Christyne and I have made it to San Fran.  We checked into our hotel yesterday and immediately went out in search of food.  We walked the couple of blocks around the Marriott and did some shopping.  The weather is wonderful!!  So much nicer than the 100+ degrees I left behind at home.  But we're still on TN and MA time, so we called it a night early and got some extra sleep last night.  Now we're getting ready to go exploring some more today.

get the good gossip on what's happening at RWA????  I wanted to go, but couldn't.  Next year though, DC is a hop, skip and a jump for me...so i should be there!

I'll spread the word about the PJ party on Thursday.

We had a great time at the Super Readers party. Tons of good company, all the wine was gone and most of the water--the room was a little warm! The trivia game ended with 11 very satisfied winners.

I was delighted to meet some eHQ friends in person including Christyne and Kathleen G. I hope everyone had a good time!

P.S. I had a scheduling snafu and went out looking for the PJ party LAST night. Hee. I'll be going back again tonight.

It's not so much that people get wasted there. It's more that they OD on the candy bars... LOL! Ah, Friday at Nationals. Just about everyone is starting to feel the lack of sleep and they're using foul language at the Continental breakfast, but by now everyone should be at speed and getting ready for the Harlequin Party.

I wonder if they'll have that chocolate fountain again this year?

Funny story is that she actually ended up leaving her camera in the Harlequin suite after the party.  I found it and brought it back to my hotel room.  I figured it was hers after reading on her blog that she'd lost it, and due to the wonders of technology, we connected and I delivered it to her the next morning at her hotel.

Before I left I wish I would have seen this thread!!!  I heard about the party, but didn't know anything about it before.  Oh well, next year I'll pay attention.  This was my first year to attend and I HAD THE VERY BEST TIME.  Can't wait to meet more of you.  (some of you might have passed by me at the Literary Siging night.  I was working a mobile calc. :)  See ya'll next year.
