Was It A Ghost?

Last weekend, I attended a book festival in Shreveport, Louisiana, that was held at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, home of the Louisiana Hayride (Where Elvis and many other country stars got their start!) The festival went well, but the most intriguing thing about the weekend was a photo that was taken on Friday night!

I was posing with Kathy Patrick (of Beauty and the Book fame) and LI author Lenora Worth for a photo and when the shot was taken... a strange white blob appeared in the photo next to me.  Now the Municipal Auditorium is said to be haunted, so immediately, Kathy, Lenora and the lady taking the shot said..."It's a ghost!!"  Without moving, we'd taken another picture right afterward that came out perfectly.  There was nothing behind us that should have reflected the flash... so the mystery remains.  Was it a ghost?

I'd wanted to post the picture here... but the photo is on Lenora's camera and she is on her way to San Francisco and won't be home to send it to me until mid August.  But I thought I'd whet your appetites for when the picture comes in later.

I'll admit... I don't do ghosts.  I'm not into haunted houses or horror movies or any of that sort of thing... so the picture freaked me out!

I'll be interested in your opinions when I get it for posting...

Until then, happy reading!

I like Casper the friendly ghost!

He's such a cute little thing - LOL!

Actually I do find hauntings to be intriguing.  I'm not really into vampires and such, but there's something about lost souls roaming in search of redemption, revenge, or a final closure.  Not that I believe they're real.  But I think they make for great stories!

Was it a ghost in the picture?  I doubt it.  But it's fun to speculate on!  Sounds like a cool festival, too. Smile
